My share for today is two more Matchbook Gum Holders that I made. Let's take a look:
On Monday, I shared two of my Matchbook Gum Holder designs and the template. I liked them so much that I made a couple more of the same design. And, I'll be sharing some different designs later this week and next week, if my health cooperates.
My Matchbook Base is Coffee Break Designer Series Paper cut to measure 2-1/2" x 8-7/8" and Scored and Folded at 3/4", 4-7/8" and 5-1/8".
I used my Stampin' Up Stapler (Retired) and stapled the folded up 3/4" section; once on the left and once on the right. Be sure not to staple too far up or your gum and flap will not stay tucked in the 3/4" section.
There are 3 parts to my Gum Holder Project. The Matchbook Base, the Matchbook Belly Band and a packet of Gum. I found my Gum at our local coffee store. There are 2 packets of Gum in the Box.
After I made my Matchbook from a panel of Stampin' Up's Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, I adhered a Heart from SU's Corrugated Elements Embellishments to the bottom.
I slid the Gum packet into my Matchbook and then made the Belly Band as follows:
I trimmed out a coordinating strip of Coffee Break DSP to measure 1/2" x 6-1/2" and Scored and Folded the Strip at 1-5/8", 2", 4-1/2" and 4-7/8" for the Belly Band.
I wrapped the Belly Band around the Matchbook with the Gum in it and adhered it together in the front with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. (Your Coffee Cup with cover the splice in the Strip for the Belly Band.)
Using SU's Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, I die cut the Lid from SU's Coffee Break DSP, the Coffee Cup and Small Oval from Soft Sky Cardstock and the Coffee Wrap from Crumb Cake Cardstock. I adhered everything together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I fussy cut out 3 of the Coffee Beans and adhered 2 Beans to my Small Oval with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and 1 Bean with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered my assembled Coffee Cup to my Belly Band with Stampin' Dimensionals.
This is for the Second Matchbook:
Using SU's Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped the Hi and the Coffee Stopper in Garden Green Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut them out with the coordinating Coffee Cups Framelits Dies.
I adhered my stamped Hi to one of the Tags and the Coffee Stopper to one of the Hearts in SU's Corrugated Elements Embellishments and adhered them to the Gum Packet with SU's Glue Dots as shown in the picture above.
Using SU's 1/8" Handheld Punch, I punched a hole in the short foil end of the Gum Packet. (The Long Foil End of the Gum Packet goes into the 3/4" slot of the Matchbook.) I thread a LONG length of SU's Linen Thread through the hole and tied a Bow. I thread the LONG end of the Linen Thread through the hole in the Corrugated Tag and tied it into a knot and then another Bow.
For the first Matchbook, I stamped the Hi in Early Espresso Ink and the Coffee Stopper in Soft Sky Ink.
I did the same for my second Matchbook except I stamped the Beans in Soft Suede Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, die cut them out and adhered them to the Small Oval with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I hope you can come back tomorrow when I'll share the two matching Cards for my Matchbook Gum Holders.
These are so fun and addicting to make and they make for some excellent gifts!!!
Again, I hope I got everything posted correctly as it is still so hard with a Boo Boo eye!
Blessings!
Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.
With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.
There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!
Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.
As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design. Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
