Coffee Break, Coffee Cafe, Lemon Zest, Coffee Cups - V

Another gorgeous day in Michigan.  Full sun, no wind and warmer temperatures.  Awesome!

My share for today is two Card/Matchbook Tea Packet Holders that I made.  Let's take a look:

O.K.  I'm addicted to these Matchbooks so for today's Matchbooks, I've used Tea Packets with different dimensions for the Matchbooks.

My Card Bases are a panel of Garden Green Cardstock and a panel of Soft Sky Cardstock cut at 3-1/2" x 5".   I didn't make them into a normal Card Base where you score and fold the Card Base as I thought the Matchbook itself made for its own Card Base.  You can always make your Card Base as a normal Card Base by cutting your Cardstock at 5" x 7" and score and fold it at 3-1/2" for either a top or side opening Card.

Pictured above is the template that I made to make the Tea Packet Matchbook Holders.

I trimmed out panels from Stampin' Up's Coffee Break Designer Series Paper at
3-1/4" x 7-1/2" and scored and folded them at 3/4", 4-1/4" and 4-1/2".

I used my Stampin' Up Stapler (Retired) and stapled the folded up 3/4" section; once on the left and once on the right.  Be sure not to staple too far up or your Tea Packet and flap will not stay tucked in the 3/4" section.

Using SU's Coffee Cups Framelits Dies, I die cut out 2 Short Cups; one from Garden Green and one from Soft Sky Cardstock, 2 Lids from SU's Coffee Break DSP and one Wrap from Crumb Cake Cardstock.

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment on the Soft Sky Cup and on the Crumb Cake Wrap.

I adhered my Cups together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to the top of my Matchbooks with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Coffee Cafe Stamp Set, I stamped my Hi in Soft Sky and Garden Green Inks onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut them out with the Tag die.

I cut a LONG length of SU's Linen Thread, wrapped it through the hole in the Tag and tied it into a tiny Bow.  I adhered the LONG end of the thread to the Cups' Lid with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Tag to the bottom corner of the Cup with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped the Whole Lemon once and the Lemon Slices twice in Daffodil Delight Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock .

Using SU's Lemon Builder Punch, I punched out the Whole Lemon.

Using SU's 1-3/4" Circle Punch, I punched out the Lemon Slices.

Using SU's Fine Tip Glue Bottle Adhesive, I covered one of the punched Lemon Slices with the Glue to give the Sections a nice shine.  When the adhesive was dry, I fussy cut out two pieces with 2 Lemon Sections each.

I fussy cut out some of the Leaves from SU's Coffee Break DSP.

I adhered the Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Lemon Sections with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of the Soft Sky Matchbook:

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped the Sentiment in Soft Suede Ink onto the Punched Whole Lemon and adhered it to the Tea Packet with SU's Glue Dots.

I adhered a fussy cut Leaf stem to the Lemon Sectons with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For the inside of my Garden Green Matchbook:

Using SU's Lemon Zest Stamp Set, I stamped the Sentiment in Soft Suede Ink onto the Punched Lemon Slice and adhered it to the Tea Packet with SU's Glue Dots.

I adhered fussy cut Leaves to the Lemon with Slice with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Love, love and love these Matchbooks.

These are so fun and addicting to make and they make for some excellent gifts!!!

Again, I hope I got everything posted correctly as it is still so hard with a Boo Boo eye!

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

COLOR-REVAMP_DEMO_HEADER_USCA

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
