Stampin' Up Many Happy Birthdays February 2017 Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit - Cards & Envelopes - IV

It's much nicer out today.  The temp's are warming up and the sun is shining full on.  Yay!

My share for today is Stampin' Up's Many Happy Birthdays Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit from February.  I designed 3 Cards from the left over top portion of the Pre-Printed Cards from another project.  The Stampin' Up products that I used to make the Party Hats are Wish Big Framelits Dies and the Bows from Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit.

Let's take a look:

I designed 3 Cards using the top portion of the Pre-Printed Cards and turning them up-side-down.

So, cut the top of one of the Pre-Printed Cards from the kit off just below the Dashes.  Then trim off one of the stripes at the top as shown in the picture above.  It should measure around 3-13/16" in height.

I cut off the 2 tabs on the end.

I cut the left flap off at the Pre-Scored Score line. (Save flap for next step.)

Remove the Pre-Adhered Adhesive Tape from the right side and adhere the flap so it hangs over the edge of the Base Card. (My intent here was to make this part of the card wider.

Using the Many Happy Birthdays Stamp Set from the kit, I stamped Happy in Flirty Flamingo Ink through the window.  I then stamped Birthday underneath.

I then adhered the Candle Flame as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Wish Big Framelits Dies, I die cut the pieces for my Party Hats from the coordinating colors:
Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Whisper White

I used the Frosting dies to make the scalloped pieces for the Hats.  Just trim off the ends as needed as they will hang over the edges of the Hats.

I used my SU 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch and punched 6 Circles from the left over Glitter Paper from the kit and adhered them to my Hats with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I assembled my Party Hats using Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the Hats to the card as shown in the pictures above using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stapled about a 3 to 3-1/2" length of SU's Gold Sequin Trim to the tip of the Hat using small staples.  I also added some Mono Multi Purpose Glue to really keep the trim in place.

I adhered the Bows from SU's Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit to the die cut flowers and then to the tip of the hat covering the staple with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I used my SU Envelope Punch Board to make my Envelopes with Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry Cardstock.

The Envelope size that I used is 3" x 5-1/2" and trimmed out my Cardstock to measure 7-1/8" x 7-1/8" with a Start Line of 2-3/4".

I was going to add some of the Dots & Dashes using the Many Happy Birthday Stamped to my Envelopes and ... I forgot!  I can't believe that I did that; but, I have a lot going on in my life right now!

So, I inserted my Cardstock at the 2-3/4" Start Line, Punched and Scored.  I turned my Cardstock and lined up the Score Line with the Notch at the top of my Board and punched and scored 3 more times, rotating after each punch and score.

I assembled my Envelopes with SU's Tear & Tape Adhesive as shown in the picture above.  I do like to trim off the Bottom Center of the last folded flap.

I adhered SU's Circle Enamel Shapes to the centers of the Bows.

I think these little cards would make anyone smile on their Birthday!

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!
