It's gorgeous out this
morning; but, we have rain, freezing rain and snow moving in this
afternoon. We are to expect 1 to 3" of snow. Ewwwwww.... Enough
already!
I'm
sorry I didn't get any St. Patrick's Day cards or projects made this
year. I have a lot going on in my life right now; but, I wanted to wish
everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
And, here are a couple St. Patrick's day blog posts from last year!
Make it a great day!

Today is another cloudy day. I am so missing the sun. The weatherman said it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow with cooler temp's; a high of 39. Brrrrr.....I'm blaming the groundhog for the cold!
I have another Recipe Card Swap for today that I designed for my good friend and fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, and her group. I can't wait to see what everyone else designed.
Let's take a look:
I found this recipe in my Mom's hand written cook book. She was an amazing baker and had acquired a ton of cook books over the years! I sure miss my Mom and all her home made goodies. Unfortunately, I never really took the time to learn to bake.
I decided to make some more of the punch art Leprechauns that I designed for yesterdays blog post. I thought they would go perfect with my Mom's St. Patty's Day Cupcake recipe.
Click here to go to yesterdays blog post and for the instructions on how to make the punch art Leprechaun: http://lynnslocker.blogspot.com/2016/03/stampin-up-punch-art-leprechaun-happy.html
The only thing that I did different with today's punch art Leprechaun was to emboss his eyebrows and mustache with SU's Spring Flowers Embossing Folder and I used Stampin' Up's Pink Pirouette Ink to sponge the nose and mouth instead of Blushing Bride Ink. I can't make up my mind if I like the mustache and eyebrows plain or embossed?
Isn't he just stinkin' cute!!!
My recipe card base is Stampin' Up's Old Olive Cardstock cut at 8" x 8".
I used a 1999 Stampin' Up Stamp Set called 'Kiss Me' and stamped the celebrating shamrocks randomly on the recipe card base with SU Old Olive Ink.
I stamped the shamrock on SU's Whisper White Cardstock in SU's Old Olive Ink and fussy cut it out. I adhered both the Leprechaun and the Shamrock to my recipe card base using Mono Mult-Purpose Glue.
I added one of SU's Basic Jewel Pearl's to the center of the Shamrock.
I just LOVE how my Leprechaun turned out. I hope he brings all of you good luck and lots of sunshine.
That's all I have for today. Have a great weekend!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, Please be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
If you are
interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me
on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as
your Demonstrator.
This is my first blog and it is still under construction. I have yet to receive my Watermark so the picture's

OH MY GOSH LYNN......How adorable are these swaps. Can't wait to get them in my hands and see in person. Thanks for playing!
