Stampin' Up Many Happy Birthdays Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards with Birthday Banners, Bunch of Banners - II

Well, the dusting of snow that we got yesterday is almost gone.  Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50's so I'm sure it will all be gone (again) by tomorrow.  And, there's going to be Sun in the forecast for our weekend.  Yay!

My share for today is a Shaker Card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Many Happy Birthdays Paper Pumpkin Kit, Birthday Banners Stamp Set, Bunch of Banners and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and Sprinkles and Balloon Bouquet Punches.

Let's take a look:

Like I said yesterday, if you know me or follow my blog, then you know that I am a BIG fan of creating Shaker Cards.  Such a fun card and you will see a few more in the days to follow.

My Card Base is Calypso Coral Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4" for a side opening card.

Using SU's Birthday Banner Stamp Set, I stamped 6 Candles on to Whisper White Cardstock; 2 - Night of Navy Ink, 1 - Island Indigo, 1- Watermelon Wonder, 1- Pool Party and 1 - Flirty Flamingo.  I then stamped 6 Candle Flames in Crushed Curry Ink on to Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Candles and Flames and adhered the Flames on to the tops of the Candles with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. (Tip - I adhered a skinny, long strip of scrap cardstock to the back of the Candles to hold the Flame on to the Candle better and make the Candles more secure.)

Using SU's Sprinkles Punch, I punched a lot of Sprinkles from Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo and Night of Navy Cardstocks.

Using my SU 1/4" Handheld Circle Punch, I punched 12 Circles from the leftover Gold Glitter Paper in the Kit.

I laid all my Shaker Filler Pieces on top of my Flirty Flamingo Card Base along with 1 Night of Navy Candle and 8 of the Gold Glitter Circles (save 2 Gold Glitter Circles for the Banner and 2 for the inside of the Card) and set it aside while I made my Shaker Frame.

For my Shaker Frame, I used the leftover White Cardstock in the Many Happy Birthdays Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This is the piece that is leftover after you punch out all the Party Invitations.  I trimmed off the two Rectangles on the Right Side and used the Left Side for my Shaker Frame.

Using SU's Window Sheets, I cut my window to measure 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" and adhered it to the back of my Shaker Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered SU's Foam Adhesive Strips (for Shaker and Spinner Cards) along the outside edges of my window on the back of my Frame.  I absolutely LOVE these Strips as there is no more trying to cut tacky, sticky Foam off of a tape roll.
(Tip - Make sure that you cannot see the Foam Adhesive Strips in the Window or outside the edges of the Frame itself.)
(Tip - Use your Emboss Buddy and rub it along the inside edges of the Foam Adhesive Strips so your Shaker Filler Pieces don't stick to the edges of the Foam Adhesive Strips.)

I measured out my Card Base and Frame so that I could adhere one of the Night of Navy Candles inside the Frame.  The Center Candle inside the Frame is adhered down with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Spread out your Shaker Filler Pieces and the other Night of Navy Candle in a rectangle on the top of your Calypso Coral Card Base.  Remove the Adhesive Liner from the Foam on the back of your Window Frame and adhere it over the top of your Shaker Filler Pieces and on to your Card Base.  Easy Peasy!!!

Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2" Oval from Crushed Curry Cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of my Shaker Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Birthday Banners Stamp Set, I stamped my Banner and Sentiment in Night of Navy Ink on to Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Banner out and adhered it over the Crushed Curry Oval with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered 2 of the leftover Gold Glitter Circles to each end of the Banner.

For the inside of my Card:  Using SU's Layering Ovals, I die cut the Largest Oval from Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Birthday Banners Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment on the Whisper White Oval in Night of Navy Ink and adhered the Oval to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Balloon Bouquet Punch, I punched 1 Small and 1 Large Balloon from the Pre-Printed Cards in the Kit and adhered them to the inside of my Card as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's Sprinkles punch, I punched two of the Streamers; one from Crushed Curry and one from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and adhered them above and below my Sentiment with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered the last 2 leftover Gold Glitter Circles to the Sprinkles with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

I adhered the Island Indigo and the Pool Party Candles to the Left Side of my Shaker Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and then I adhered the Watermelon Wonder Candle on top of and in between the two Candles with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the Flirty Flamingo Candle to the Right Side of my Shaker Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

That's all I have for today.
