Stampin' Up Sneak Peek Beautiful Thoughful Branches Touches of Texture Cards

Phew...it's a warm, humid day out today!  We are expecting some pop up thunderstorms late tonight and into tomorrow.  Oh Boy, here we go again!!!

My share for today is 4 cards that I designed using Stampin' Up's Thoughtful Branches and Touches of Texture Stamp Sets and Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies.

Below is SU's flyer for the Thoughtful Branches promotion.  You can order the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and/or the Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies starting August 2nd through the 31st while supplies last.

Sorry the flyers are so small.  I couldn't make them any bigger and they are quite blurry.

O.K. Onto my card shares:

Oh Yah!!!  Is that a Hydrangea or what!!!  Instead of making the tree's from the new Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set and Beautiful Branches Framelits Dies, I went right for the Hydrangea Flower!  Love, love and love!!!

My card base is Stampin' Up So Saffron Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".

Using SU's Touches of Texture Stamp Set, I stamped the Dots stamp in So Saffron Ink randomly on my card base.

I stamped the tree top stamp from the new SU Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.  I then die cut it out using SU's new Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies.

I laid the tree top die up-side-down onto another piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, traced around it with a pencil and fussy cut it out.

Using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue, I adhered the detailed tree top piece to the solid tree top piece which is now the Hydrangea Flower.  =)

I die cut the stem and leaves using Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies from SU's Emerald Envy Cardstock.

I laid the stem and leaves die up-side-down onto another piece of Emerald Envy Cardstock, traced around the leaves with a pencil and fussy cut them out.

Using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue, I adhered the detailed leaves onto the solid leaves.

I adhered the top of the stem to the base of my Hydrangea Flower using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from Thoughtful Branches onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, trimmed it out for a banner and wrapped it around the stem.  I gave the banner some curves using my SU Bone Folder.

I used Stampin' Dimensionals behind the Flower and Mono Multi-Purpose Glue behind the stem and banner to adhere it to my card base and to give it a little more of a 3D look.

I also curled up a few of the flower petals with my fingernail to give it a 3D look also.

I adhered a lot of the tiniest Basic Jewel Pearls all over the Hydrangea Flower and one of the largest pearls onto the banner.

I stamped the Bumble Bee from Touches of Texture Stamp Set in Basic Black Archival Ink, colored its head and body with a SU Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker and fussy cut it out.  I went around the edges of the Bee with a SU Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

Using my Wink of Stella Brush and some SU Wisteria Wonder Ink, I colored the Bees' wings.  Doesn't that Bee look real - Yikes!!!

I adhered the Bee to the Flower with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside of my card, I stamped the BIG Splotch stamp from Touches of Texture Stamp Set in So Saffron Ink.  (Sorry for the bad picture; but, I didn't have time to re-take it).

I masked off the ARE in the sentiment from Thoughtful Branches and stamped it onto the splotch using Basic Black Archival Ink.

Following are some more pictures of cards I made the same as above only with different colors of cardstocks and inks.  I also used different background stamps from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set.

Which colors do you like the best???

For this card, I used SU Sweet Sugarplum and Very Vanilla Cardstocks.

I stamped and colored the Dragonfly the same way that I stamped and colored the Bee.  That Dragonfly looks real too!!!

I LOVE this sentiment!!!

For this card, I used Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and Very Vanilla.

What a gorgeous flower!!!

For this card, I used Wisteria Wonder, Flirty Flamingo and Very Vanilla.

That's all I have for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Have a great day!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
