What a gorgeous week it has been so far! You couldn't ask for better weather. No pop up thunderstorms as of yet!
Today,
I'll be sharing the third card that I designed using Stampin' Up's
Pretty Kitty Stamp Set, Blooms & Bliss Designers Series Paper and
Tags & Labels Framelits Dies.
Let's take a look:
Yes, life can be "messy" at times. I just want to give this little kitty a BIG hug!!!
My card base is Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper cut at 3" x 6" and scored and folded at 3".
My
card front panel is Stampin' Up Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x
2-3/4". This is my FAVE cardstock to water color or to color with
Stampin' Write Markers.
I used my Project Life Corner Rounder to round the right two corners of my card front panel.
Using
SU's Pretty Kitty Stamp Set, I stamped the Kitty in Basic Black
Archival Ink and colored the Kitty using Stampin' Write Markers in
Sahara Sand and Blushing Bride. I colored the ball of yarn using my Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker.
I
also stamped my sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink. As you will see
on my blog throughout the rest of this week and next, the sentiments in
the Pretty Kitty Stamp Set are just perfect for each Kitty image.
I
notched the left sides of my card front panel with my SU 1/16"
Handheld Circle Punch to anchor in a piece of SU's Solid Baker's Twine
in Blushing Bride. I wrapped the twine around the panel by placing it in
the notches and tied it in a knot in the front. I then fanned out the
threads on each end of the twine.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I adhered my card front panel to my card base.
I
die cut a Tag using SU's Tags & Labels Framelits Dies
and adhered the tag to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose
Glue.
I'm
addicted to Stampin' Up's Gold and Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes. I
adhered one of the silver circle shapes to the upper left corner of my
card.
Awwwww...cheer up little kitty...it'll get better!
That's all that I have for today! Hope you can come back tomorrow and next week to see more of my Kitty Cards.
Have a great day!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
If you are
