First off, let me tell you how excited I am today. I got a glimpse at some of the new Stampin' Up products in the new Stampin' Up 2016-2017 Holiday Catalog that goes live September 1st! Woo Hoo! I can totally say "CUTENESS" and that I can't wait to pre-order next week. Yay!
And, it's another gorgeous day with bright, blue skies and a light breeze! Ya' couldn't ask for a prettier day in Michigan!!!
My share for today is 3" x 3" cards that I designed using Stampin' Up's Pretty Kitty Stamp Set, Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper and Tags & Labels Framelits Dies. Such Darling, Darling, little Kitty's and Beautiful, Beautiful paper!!! And, I didn't even use the most popular pieces of DSP that have the bigger flowers in Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum colors. So, I will just have to make some cards with these pretty floral prints!
Let's take a look at my card share for today:
O.K. everyone all together now...one, two, three...Awwwwwww! Such a pretty, sweet Kitty...LOVE! Although, I LOVE my Boris and Natasha too!
My card base is Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper cut at 3" x 6" and scored and folded at 3".
My card front panel is Stampin' Up Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4". This is my FAVE cardstock to water color or to color with Stampin' Write Markers.
I used my Project Life Corner Rounder to round the top two corners of my card front panel.
Using SU's Pretty Kitty Stamp Set, I stamped the Kitty in Basic Black Archival Ink and colored the Kitty using Stampin' Write Markers in Sahara Sand, Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride.
I also stamped my sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink. As you will see on my blog throughout the rest of this week and next, the sentiments in the Pretty Kitty Stamp Set are just perfect for each Kitty image. The one I used today is two-fold: One for the front and one for the inside of my card.
I notched the two bottom sides of my card front panel with my SU 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch to anchor in a piece of SU's Solid Baker's Twine in Night of Navy. I wrapped the twine around the panel by placing it in the notches and tied it in a knot in the front. I then fanned out the threads on each end of the twine.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, I adhered my card front panel to my card base.
I die cut the a Tag using SU's Tags & Labels Framelits Dies, stamped the rest of the sentiment on the tag with SU Basic Black Archival Ink and adhered the tag to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I'm addicted to Stampin' Up's Gold and Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes. I adhered one of the gold circle shapes to the upper left corner of my card.
That's all that I have for today! Hope you can come back the rest of this week and next week to see more of my Kitty Cards.
Have a great day!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
