Stampin' Up Sunshine Wishes Card III

This week is going to be beautiful all week long.  We could sure use some rain though; but, none in sight until this Friday.

Randy took my fishing again on Saturday.  WaHoo, did we catch the fish!!!  I could fish day-in and day-out which we almost did.  I caught a 20" bass this time.  Wow, it really fought and fought and took me about 10 minutes from start to finish to get it into the pontoon.  What a BIG, FAT fish!!!  And, what fun!!!

We had an injured hawk in our driveway yesterday.  We were going to call the DNR; but, it flew off into the woods.  The poor thing sure had a hard time trying to fly.  It was really neat to see it close up and, of course, it was gone before I could get my camera.

My share today is another card I designed using Stampin' Up's new Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies and Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper.

Let's take a look:

My card base is SU Night of Navy Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".

Using Stampin' Up's new Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, I die cut two of the hearts from Watermelon Wonder Cardstock.  The heart die gives you 2 pieces; the outer detailed heart and the inner solid heart.  LOVE!!!

It's so fun to die cut the hearts and mix or match the papers and cardstocks for the inner and outer hearts.  For tomorrow's card, I mixed them up!!!

I trimmed out a piece of Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper at 1" x 5-1/2".

I inserted the 1" piece into one opposite side of each heart and adhered it to my card base about two thirds of the way down using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I then adhered the solid heart die cuts into the center of each detailed heart die cut using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The small heart in the center was die cut using SU's new Wish Big Framelits Dies and adhered using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.  I'll share some cards with this set in the near future.

I adhered one of the smallest SU's Basic Jewel Pearls to the center of each heart.

I die cut 4 of the butterflies; two from Watermelon Wonder Cardstock and two from Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper.  I adhered 2 of the butterflies together in the center and a little off-set using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Gold Metallic Thread, I wrapped it around the butterfly about 12 times leaving long ends for the butterflies antennae.  I used a very small amount of Mono Multi-Purpose Glue to hold the thread in place.

I die cut the congrats sentiment from SU's Gold Foil Cardstock.

I wanted the sentiment to look like the butterflies had carried it on to my card so I adhered the two butterflies onto each end of the congrats sentiment and then adhered it to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I tied a triple bow from SU's new Night of Navy Solid Baker's Twine and adhered it in-between the two hearts using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.  I LOVE this new Solid baker's twine.  Gosh, it ties up so nice!!!  I also love that it comes on a spool instead of a cardboard piece - No kinks!!!  It comes in Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Elegant Eggplant, Emerald Envy, Night of Navy and Whisper White.

And, I adhered one of SU's Basic Jewel Pearls to the center of my bow.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
