What a beautiful day!!! The sun is full on and such a bright blue sky. It's supposed to be the same for Saturday with a high of 88. I'm hoping Randy will take me fishing again!
Before we get into my card share for today, I have some fun pictures of Mama Whitetail Deer and her two Fawn babies.
Mama Whitetail Deer is finally bringing her babies around the outskirts of our yard. She hasn't brought them in to the bird feeders yet. It's kind of a neat picture. Looks like the sunlight is coming down right on top of the little Fawn that is trying to run to catch up to Mama.
I was able to zoom in and get somewhat of a better picture. They're so cute and wobbly on their long and skinny legs.
I think the Fawn next to Mama is getting hungry and looking to nurse. You can really see the spots on the Fawn on the right. Aren't they sweet!
O.K. Onto my card share. Today, I'll be sharing another card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies, Happy Heart Embossing Folder and Whisper White Pom Pom Trim.
Let's take a look:
My card layout for today is the same as yesterday. Click here to see yesterday's blog post
http://lynnslocker.blogspot.com/2016/06/stampin-up-sunshine-wishes-cards.html
to see how I made the card.
I used the leftover pieces from die cutting the flower twice; once in SU Night of Navy and once in SU Marina Mist.
For this card, I used the LOVE sentiment in the new Stampin Up Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies.
I also used SU's Happy Hearts Embossing Folder on my card base.
I'm in LOVE with SU's new Whisper White Mini Pom Pom Trim.
I trimmed out a piece of SU's Designer Series Paper Stack in Night of Navy with small, white polka dots and adhered it to the left side of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
And, I added this cute little butterfly. I die cut it twice using SU's Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies; once in Night of Navy and once in Marina Mist. I offset the two pieces and adhered them together with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I wrapped some of SU's Gold Metallic Thread around the butterflies for the body and antennae.
I adhered the butterfly to the DSP with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.
Here is a picture of yesterday's card so you can compare the two cards.
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a great weekend!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
