Stampin' Up Love You Lots, Bear Hugs & Many Manly Occasions May Paper Pumpkin Kit - Gift Card Box V

We had some more storms move through again yesterday with very high winds.  One storm just missed us to the North and two more storms to the South.  We were on the very edge of two of them.  There was sunshine on one side of the house and the sky was so black on the other side of the house.  Gladwin County to the North had damaging hail and trees down.  Over 4,000 people were without power.  We were very lucky and only got rain and the high winds and our power stayed on.  And, today is quite cooler; gone is the hot, humid 80's again and back to low 70's.  Feels much better again!  You would think it was July in Michigan!

This week I will continue showcasing Stampin' Up's new 2016-2018 In-Colors, Love You Lots Stamp Set (Host), other new SU products and the Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit Gift Card Box that I designed.

Today, I slipped in a 3" x 3" card using SU's Bear Hugs that is returning from the previous annual catalog to almost complete my set of cards.  I have one more card from SU's Love You Lots to show tomorrow.

Let's take a re-look at the Gift Card Box and then I'll share one of the cards each day that I designed for the Gift Card Box:

I've made a lot of Gift Card Sets; but, I do believe this has got to be my FAVE!!!

In the picture above, I used one of the cards in Stampin' Up's Many Manly Occasions May Paper Pumpkin Kit to make the Gift Card Box.  Click on the following link to go to my blog post to see how it was made http://lynnslocker.blogspot.com/2016/06/stampin-up-sneak-peek-love-you-lots.html

Now, onto the next card that I designed with SU's Bear Hugs Stamp Set, In-Colors and other new SU product:

Awwwwww...Isn't he Sweet!!!  How many times could I have used a BIG bear hug!!!

My card base is one of Stampin' Up's new 2016-2018 In-Colors called Peekaboo Peach.  I cut it at 3" x 6" and scored and folded it at 3".

My card front panel is SU's Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4".

I used my Project Life corner rounder punch to round the corners of the Shimmery White Cardstock.

I stamped the bear and sentiment using SU's Bear Hugs Stamp Set in SU's Soft Suede Ink.

I punched the sentiment out using SU's Word Window punch (Retired) and adhered it just above the bear with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.  There's a new punch in the new annual catalog called Classic Label Punch that is going to work perfectly for sentiments.  Can't wait to get my hands on that punch!

I adhered my card front panel to my card base using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.

Sorry!  My picture is just a titch blurry on the bottom!  Might be too much of a close up, eh!!!  =)

I added a piece of SU's Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape for some grounding for the bear.  The Playful Palette DWT comes in all the new In-Colors as shown in my previous blog posts.  Another one of my SU new product FAVES!!!

I die cut one of SU's new Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies from SU's Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I just LOVE this BIG bear and all the animals in Bear Hugs and Love You Lots Stamp sets!!!

Here's a couple pictures of my Bleeding Heart plants.  They just fascinate me with those perfect blooms!  There's also Honey Suckle, Alyssum and Day Lillie's.

Well, that's all I have for today.  Please come back tomorrow when I'll share another card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
