Stampin' Up Love You Lots & Many Manly Occasions May Paper Pumpkin Kit - Gift Card Box II

It's just another gorgeous day in Michigan!  A very nice and tolerable cool down after a week of mid 80 degree temperatures and too much humidity.  Phew...it feels so much better.  It's hard to believe that we had such hot, humid weather in May in Michigan!  Not complaining though!

Today, tomorrow and next week I will continue showcasing Stampin' Up's new 2016-2018 In-Colors, Love You Lots Stamp Set and the Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit Gift Card Box that I designed.

Let's take a re-look at the Gift Card Box and then I'll share one of the cards each day that I made for the Gift Card Box:

See my yesterday's blog post on how to make the Many Manly Occasions May Paper Pumpkin Kit Gift Card Box here http://lynnslocker.blogspot.com/2016/06/stampin-up-sneak-peek-love-you-lots.html

Now, onto my first Stampin' Up Love You Lots Stamp Set card:

Isn't that just too sweet!!!  And, yes, I fussy cut the tiny, little mouse!  You all know by now that I am one of the 'Fussy Cutting Queen's'!!!

I just LOVE animal (critter) stamps and this elephant and mouse are so Stinkin' cute!  Stampin' Up's Love You Lots Stamp Set is full of fun and oh-so-cute animals with absolutely brilliant sayings that go along with the stamps!  This is one of my FAVE Host stamp sets from SU's new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog that went live yesterday!  If you place $150 order, they could be yours free!

My card base is Stampin' Up's new Flirty Flamingo Cardstock cut at 3"x6" and scored and folded at 3".

My card front panel is SU's Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 2-3/4" x 2-3/4".

I stamped the elephant and the sentiment using SU's Basic Gray Archival Ink, rounded the corners with my Project Life Corner Rounder Punch and adhered it to my card base using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the mouse using SU's Chocolate Chip Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock, fussy cut him out and adhered him to the tip of the elephants trunk with a tiny piece of Stampin' Dimensionals.  Isn't he just too cute popped up!!!

I added a strip of SU's new Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape (cut in half lengthwise) to the bottom of the card front for some grounding for the elephant.  The Playful Palette DWT matches the new In-Colors so perfectly!  Another LOVE of mine!!!

For the inside of my card, I die cut one of the fancy hearts from SU's new Sweet & Sassy heart framelits dies.  There are 15 dies and two different styles of hearts in the set.

And, I am sooooo excited!!!  One of my orders is shipping out from Stampin' Up TODAY!!!  Yippy Skipee!!!

Above is a picture of the Wisteria blossoms on my Wisteria tree.  I've waited like 10 years for it to bloom and WOW was it worth it.  Not every one of the blossoms have opened yet and they are actually over a foot long now.

The smell is just amazing coming from these blooms!

In the background, you can kind of see some small fruit trees that my Husband bought for my Mom when she came to live with us.  There are Peach, FUJI and Transparent Apple, Plum, Black Cherry and Pear trees.  Unfortunately, my Mom passed away two years later; but, she did get to eat some of the sweetest peaches off the tree ever!  I'll never forget how she loved those peaches!

And, all the trees are full of fruit except the Pear and Transparent trees.  We made it through some awful cold, frosty nights.  Now, if we can only get to the fruit when it is ready before all the deer and raccoons!  =)

That's all I have for today!  Please come back tomorrow when I will share another Love You Lots card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
