Stampin' Up Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternate Project Bear Hugs My Hero IV

Well, we have a chance of more thunderstorms today!  It would be nice to just get an all day rain with no storms or storm warnings!

Tomorrow, I won't be sharing a blog post due to a death in the family.

Today, I'll be sharing a Father's Day Card that I designed using Stampin' Up's May Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit, Many Manly Occasions Stamp Set, Bear hugs Stamp Set and Framelits and the new My Hero Stamp Set and Best Badge Punch.  I used some SU cardstock scraps and the new 3/8" Ruched Ribbon from my personal stash on my card and project also.  I'll be sharing the project with you on Friday.

Let's take a look at the card:

I used one of the triangle laser cut cards that's included in the kit.

I trimmed the corrugated and some SU Pool Party Cardstock down on an angle and adhered it behind the laser cut triangles in the top and bottom of my card.

I stamped 12 of the fish from Stampin' Up's Bear Hugs Stamp Set in SU's Soft Suede Ink on Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Old Olive Cardstock. (Six of them for today's card and Six of them for the project that I'll share on Friday).

I die cut the fish out using the Bear Hugs coordinating Framelits Dies.

I adhered 3 of the fish across the front of the angle part of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped two of the Badges from SU's new My Hero Stamp Set in Dapper Denim on Whisper White Cardstock and punched them out using SU's new Best Badge Punch.  (One for today's card and one for the project that I'll share on Friday).

I adhered the badge to the top of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I had a left over piece of Dapper Denim 3/8" Ruched Ribbon so I tied it in a knot and adhered it to the side of the badge using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

For the inside of my card, I trimmed out a piece of SU Night of Navy Cardstock and adhered it to the left side to cover the splice between the corrugated and Pool Party Cardstocks.

I adhered 3 more fish over the Night of Navy Cardstock piece using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I put the Happy stamp, the Father's Day stamp and one of the star stamps from the Many Manly Occasions Stamp Set on my block, inked it up in Night of Navy Ink and stamped it on the right side.  I went back and stamped another star on the other side of Happy.

I adhered 4 of the Enamel Stars that come in the kit in between each fish.

Well, that's all I have for today.  Please come back Friday when I'll share a Stampin' Up Many Manly Occasions Alternate project.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I am entering my project in the Paper Pumpkin Challenge at http://mypumpkinchallenge.blogspot.com/ when the challenge opens up in June.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.
