Stampin' Up Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternate Cards III

It's mostly cloudy out today with the sun peeking through now and again!  We're supposed to have some more thunder storms move through again late tonight!  Oh boy, again!

Today, I'm sharing my third Stampin' Up Many Manly Occasions Paper Pumpkin alternate card.  Let's take a look:

My card today was designed using the contents of the Stampin' Up May Paper Pumpkin kit called Many Manly Occasions, some SU Whisper White Cardstock for my card base, a scrap of SU Night of Navy Cardstock, a scrap of Pool Party Cardstock and some metallic thread.

My card base is SU's Whisper White Cardstock cut at 3" x 6" and scored and folded at 3".

I trimmed out a piece of the corrugated cardstock that comes in the kit at 2-1/2" x 2-3/4".  I laid the corrugated piece on my SU Night of Navy Ink Pad to pick up some of the ink.  It was then adhered to my card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's 1-3/4" Circle Punch, I punched a circle from the blue tissue paper that all the contents are wrapped in from the kit.  I need to think of more ways to recycle the tissue paper.  I adhered the circle to the center of the corrugated with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I trimmed out a piece of the triangle laser cut card that comes in the kit and adhered it to the circle using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I LOVE Stampin' Up's Metallic thread.  It comes in Gold and Silver.  SU added two new Metallic Threads, Black and Copper, in the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.  I adhered 3 loops of the Gold Metallic thread to the circle using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I used SU's new Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies and die cut a Scribble from a scrap of SU's Night of Navy Cardstock. I adhered it to the circle using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using the Friend stamp that comes in the kit, I stamped it in Night of Navy Ink on a scrap of SU Pool Party Cardstock, trimmed it out using SU's Square Punch (Retired) and adhered it to my card using a Stampin' Dimensional.

I randomly adhered 3 of the Enamel Stars that come in the kit to my card.

I liked the card so much that I made two, again!

I intentionally left the inside of my card blank until I know who I will be sending them too.

Here's a couple pictures of my Weigela Shrubs on each two corners of our pole barn.  They are loaded with the red trumpet blooms and oh so pretty!  Some of the blooms have fallen off already!  =(

This is the only flower garden that I need to finish weeding.  My picture is a little funny as I took it into the sun.

Well, that's all I have for today.  Please come back tomorrow when I'll share another Stampin' Up Many Manly Occasions Alternate Card and project.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I am entering my project in the Paper Pumpkin Challenge at http://mypumpkinchallenge.blogspot.com/ when the challenge opens up in June.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

  2. Oh now, that's a cool idea, to snip out some of the triangles to make this mountain-like backdrop! The swirl looks awesome over it! Perfect assembly of various elements - came together very well! Thanks for sharing at My Pumpkin Challenge!
