Stampin' Up 2016-2017 Catalog Sneak Peek Floral Affection Pop of Paradise Square Scribbles

Another gorgeous day outside in Michigan and another Stampin' Up Sneak Peek.  What more could you ask for; except, everything in the new SU 2016-2017 Catalog!  =)  Wouldn't that be nice!  Eh!

Let's take a look at my new Sneak Peek card:

 

Lot's of fun new product in my Shaker Card.  And, I LOVE Shaker's!!!

OMGosh...Stampin' Up came out with Foam Strips to make Shaker Cards.  I have been asking for these for a while now!  And, did I tell ya' that I LOVE Shaker Cards!  =)

First up is Stampin' Up's new Layering Squares Framelits, 19 dies and two different styles.  I chose to use the Scalloped style for my Shaker Card today.

Stampin' Up has made it even easier to make Shaker Cards now!  You have your Layering Squares or Hearts (as I showed in yesterdays blog post), your Window Sheets, your Foam Strips, all your goodies to go inside your shaker and, of course, your card base. 

I used 2 of the new 2016-2018 In-Colors; Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy.

I die cut the Flowers and Leaves using SU's new Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.

The butterfly was die cut using SU's Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits.  LOVE that Peekaboo Peach color!

I tied some Basic Black threads that I pulled from Bermuda Bay/Basic Black Bakers Twine and adhered them around the butterflies body using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

The Thank You banner is from SU's new Pop of Paradise Stamp Set.  I stamped the Thank You banner using the new Emerald Envy Ink on the new Peekaboo Peach Cardstock. 
I fussy cut it out and adhered the top of the banner to the bottom of the shaker with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue and the bottom of the banner to the card using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.

And how about the new Floral Affection Embossing Folder set.  Isn't it pretty!  There are actually 2 folders and I'll be sharing a look at the second Floral Affection Embossing Folder with you tomorrow.

I took sponge daubers and lightly sponged Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy Inks over the embossed image.  Isn't it pretty!!!!

I can't wait to order some more of the new products on June 1st!
