Stampin' Up 2016-2017 Catalog Sneak Peek Sweet & Sassy Perfectly Wrapped Thoughtful Banners Rose Garden

Today and all the rest of this week is supposed to be absolutely gorgeous with lots of sunshine.  I can't wait to take advantage of all the sun and nicer temperatures and work in my flower beds.  Yay!!!  Finally!!!!

As promised in my blog post yesterday, I'm sharing another Sneak Peek card using three of the new Stampin' Up 2016-2018 In-Colors; 2 of them that I didn't show in yesterdays card and some more new products available on June 1st from SU's new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.

Let's take a look at the card I designed:

A sweet and simple Wedding/Engagement card!

My card base is Stampin' Up Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".

The 3 new SU In-Colors that I showed yesterday were Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach.  Today, I used the other 2 In-Colors along with Emerald Envy called Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo.  Love, love and love the new colors!!!

Using SU's new Sweet & Sassy Framelits, I die cut 2 hearts; one from Dapper Denim and one from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.

I cut the Flirty Flamingo heart die cut just above the Y in Happy and intertwined the two hearts together making sure that I adhered the Dapper Denim heart over the cut in the Flirty Flamingo heart so it wouldn't show.  Both hearts were adhered to the card front panel using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Rose Garden Thinlits, I die cut 2 of the leaf stems in Emerald Envy and 2 in Vellum.  I adhered the leaf stems under the Flirty Flamingo heart and over the Dapper Denim heart using Mono-Multi Purpose Glue.

I stamped Happy Day from SU's new Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set twice in VersaMark Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, sprinkled on SU's Silver Embossing Powder and heat set it with my SU Heat Tool.  I stamped the sentiment twice as it was easier to fussy cut it out and not have to worry about ruining any of the letters above or below as it is all one stamp.

SU's Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set coordinates with a new Project Kit also.  I will be sharing a sneak peek of the kit next week.

I dragged the edges of both words through my new Emerald Envy Ink Pad to give the words a pop of color around the edges.  I then adhered the words over the hearts using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Silver Metallic Thread, I tied a pretty bow and adhered it by the corner of the word happy.  There will be 2 new colors of the metallic thread available June 1st also.  The 2 new metallic thread colors are Black and Copper to go along with SU's already available Silver and Gold colors.

I adhered one of SU's Basic Jewel Rhinestones to the center of my bow.

For the inside of my card, I die cut the other style of hearts from SU's new Sweet & Sassy Framelits; one in Dapper Denim and one in Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.  I adhered them together and to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I die cut 2 more leaf stems using Rose Garden Thinlits; one in Emerald Envy Carstock and one in Vellum.  I snipped off the top of the leaf stems and adhered the remaining pieces in the top of the hearts with some scraps of Silver Metallic Thread using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from SU's new Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set in Emerald Envy Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock.

Using SU's new Duet Banner Punch, I punched my sentiment out and adhered it over the hearts using Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I'm going to miss the retiring 2014-2016 In-Colors; but, I'm lovin' these new In-Colors too!

That's all I have for today.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Please come back tomorrow when I'll share another new Sneak Peek from Stampin' Up's new 2016-2017 Annual Catalog!
