It's a very beautiful, sunny day; but, very cold outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 37F with a low tonight of 31F. The winds are SW at 5 to 10mph.
Please remember to give credit where credit is due. If you use my idea's on your blog, please give credit and share a link back to my blog!!!
My share for today is a Daffodil Card from the Daffodil Daydream Bundle that will be featured in the new upcoming 2022 Mini Occasions Catalog and more. Let's take a look:
First off, my compliments to the Stampin' Up! Designer who designed the Cards for the Daffodil Daydream Bundle. So very well done!!! Thank you for such awesome Cards. I can't wait to stamp and color the Bunch of Daffodil's using the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set!!!
My goal for today is to share with you how to put the Daffodil's together and make gorgeous Daffodil Cards. Aren't the Daffodil's so pretty!!! So much gorgeous detail! Working with the Daffodil's really made me wish it was Spring already!
I snapped a pic for you of how I made the Daffodil's by looking at the new Mini Occasions Catalog on Page 37. Being a Demonstrator, I am able to see and get my hands on the new Mini Catalog early by attending Stampin' Up!'s Virtual OnStage event.
The Upper Left is a die and die cuts of extra Petals for the Daffodil.
The Upper Right is a Daffodil Bud.
The Second Row is one of the Daffodil's Petals.
The Third Row is more Petals.
And, the fourth Row is the Daffodils' Cup.
I die cut the Daffodil's from Basic White and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.
For the Daffodil on the Left:
I sponged all of the White die cuts with a Sponge Dauber and Daffodil Delight Ink like the Stampin' Up! Designer did in the upcoming Mini Catalog.
I adhered the Extra Petals die cut to the Petals die cut with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I then adhered the Daffodils' Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the Bottom of the Cup and a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals at the top of the Cup to give it more dimension. (The Dimension was my own idea so you can just use Mono Multi Purpose Glue if you want and not use the Dimensionals.)
For the Daffodil on the Right side of my Card:
I adhered two of the Petal die cuts together and then the Cup with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (the same as the first Petals) as shown in the picture above.
I adhered the two Bud die cuts together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Daffodil dies, I die cut four Leaves and one Stem from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock.
I sponged the Stem and Leaves with Pear Pizzazz Ink and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue leaving the tops and bottoms free of adhesive.
I then adhered the Daffodil's with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and another Mini Stampin' Dimensional on the Right Daffodil.
I adhered three White Classic Matte Dots to my Card.
The new products are going to be excellent and some that are a little more in the advanced area which I am so looking forward too!!!
