It's a sunny, hot, humid day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 82F with a low tonight of 64F. The winds are W at 5 to 10mph.
My share for today is another 'Hugs' Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s Layering Hugs Dies and the new Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks and more. Let's take a look:
Here's some more FUN with Stampin' Up!'s Decorative Masks and using Blending Brushes with lots of INKS. YUMMY!!! And...talk about a Rainbow of Inky Fingers...Wowzers!!! Good thing it washes off!!! 😊😊😊 What a fun and cheery Card! Everyone needs more HUGS now-a-days, right!!!
I wanted to use my Inks to blend with the Seven colors in a Rainbow. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Purple.
I laid my Flower pattern Mask from Stampin' Up!'s Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks over my entire Whisper White Card Base and taped it down to my work surface.
I put a long sticky note just below the second row of Flowers.
Using my Real Red Ink Pad, I blended on the Ink with my Blending Brush on the first two rows of Flowers.
I removed my sticky note and put it under the fourth row of Flowers and put another long sticky note to cover the first two rows of blended Ink.
Using my Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad, I blended on the Ink with my Blending Brush on the third and fourth rows of Flowers.
I continued on in the same pattern with Mango Melody, Garden Green, Balmy Blue, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape Inks.
(Note-My Balmy Blue Ink looks more of a green than a blue, so if I made another identical Card, I would change out the Balmy Blue for maybe Pool Party Ink. I did use a clean Blending Brush when I blended each color of Ink so I'm not sure why it looks my green than blue.)
I had a little bit of Whisper White showing on the bottom of my Card Base so I trimmed it off just under the last row of Flowers. Maybe like an 1/8" or so.
Using my Layering Hugs Dies, I die cut out the large Hugs/Foliage die from Whisper White Cardstock.
I also die cut out the Hugs/Letters die from Real Red Cardstock.
I adhered the Hugs letters to my large Hugs/Foliage die cut with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using my Stampin' Trimmer, I trimmed out a Panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 1-1/8" x 2-3/4" and adhered my Hugs die cut to the Panel with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I then adhered the Hugs Panel to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered three Large and four Small Matte Black Dots to my Card as shown in the picture above.
