Merriest Moments, Merriest Frames - Four Christmas Cards and Napkin Technique, Watercolor and More!!!

It's a sunny, cold, windy day outside today in Midland, Michigan.  Our high temp for today is 47F with a low tonight of 33F.  We may even see some snowflakes tomorrow.  The winds are W at 10 to 20mph.

My share for today is four Christmas Cards that I designed using products from Stampin' Up!'s August 3 - January 3, 2022 Mini Holiday Catalog and/or the May 2021-April 2022 Annual Catalog and More.  Let's take a look:

I had a very relaxing weekend and did some die cutting and mostly sat in my chair and colored with my Stampin' Blends and also did some Watercoloring.  One of my FAVE activities!!!  😊😊😊  I really needed it too!

For my first Card:  My Card Base is Poppy Parade Cardstock.

Using the Merriest Frames dies, I die cut out the Solid Image Frame and the Detailed Image Frame from Basic White Cardstock and adhered the Solid Image Frame to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, I stamped the Medium and Large Poinsettia in Poppy Parade Ink onto Basic White Cardstock, die cut them out and adhered them together with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I stamped the Poinsettia Center in Mango Melody Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and adhered it to the Poinsettia with a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.

I die cut out the Dashed/Rectangle die from Whisper White Cardstock.  I stamped the Saying in Shaded Spruce Ink and adhered the Rectangle and my Poinsettia to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For my Second Card:  My Card Base is Cinnamon Cider Cardstock and the Solid Image Frame is Poppy Parade Cardstock.

For this Frame, I used the Napkin Die Cutting Technique.  This is an older Technique that is coming back and going around the Web again.

I used folded Square White Napkins; with the Napkins folded, they are four ply.  I laid four folded Napkins on my Cut & Emboss Machine and die cut them out with the Detailed Image Frame.  

(I made four passes through the Cut & Emboss Machine; but, they actually cut very well with one pass; I just like to make sure they are well compressed and won't fall apart.  Some people use Adhesive Sheets between the layers; but, I haven't found the need for them.  If they do come apart, I find that Mono Multi Purpose Glue works well for putting the layers back together.)

I die cut out a Dashed/Rectangle from Poppy Parade Cardstock, stamped my Saying in Shaded Spruce Ink and adhered the Rectangle to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I die cut out the Medium and Small Poinsettia and colored them with my Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend, adhered them together and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I die cut out the Poinsettia Center, colored it with my Mango Melody Stampin' Blend and adhered it to my Poinsettia with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I also die cut out the three Small Poinsettia's twice, adhered them together and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

The Frame on the Left which is the Basic White Cardstock Detailed Frame for the First Card; I colored it with my Stampin' Blends in Evening Evergreen, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Cinnamon Cider and Poppy Parade.

I colored the Frame on the Right which is the Napkin die cut Frame with the same Stampin' Blends.  (Just be aware that the Napkins suck up a lot of the Ink so you may want to experiment with just a separate Leaf in the Merriest Frames dies.)

I adhered the Frame to my First Card with Stampin' Dimensionals and the Second Card Frame with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

For my Third Card:  I die cut the Detailed Frame from Basic White Cardstock and Watercolored it with the same colors.

I die cut the Solid Image Frame from Poppy Parade Cardstock.

Using the Merriest Frame dies, I die cut out the Dashed/Rectangle from Basic White Cardstock and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, I stamped three Holly Berry Leaves and three Joy in Shaded Spruce Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.

I stamped the Holly Berries in Poppy Parade Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.

I die cut out the Joy's, the Holly Leaves and the Berries.

I fussy cut out the three Joy's.

I adhered the first and third Joy to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the second Joy with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered the three Holly Leaves to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Holly Berries with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional. 

For my Fourth Card with the Napkin Detailed Frame, I Watercolored it with the same colors.  I think this is my FAVE as it really picked up the color.

After each Frame dried, I went back and colored the little 'tick' marks on the Leaves, Sprigs and Stems with each corresponding color of Ink.

This time, I stamped the Holly Leaves right onto the Napkins with Shaded Spruce Ink, die cut out the Holly Leaves and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I also stamped the Holly Berries right onto the Napkins and die cut them out.

I used my Signo Gel Pen to make the Highlights on the Berries and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered embellishments to my Cards.  

First Card - I adhered the Gold Gilded Gems.

Second Card - Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Third Card - Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Fourth Card - Subtle Shimmer Sequins in Silver and White.
