My share for today is a Sneak Peek Thank You Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s new Pansy Patch & Quiet Meadow Stamp Sets, Pansy & Scalloped Contours Dies, Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and more. Let's take a look:
I am just Lovin' Stampin' Up!'s new Pansy Petals Suite. Pansy's were one of my Mom's FAVE flowers. She just loved their cut faces on the Petals.
My Card Base is Evening Evergreen Cardstock (new In Color). Using the Scalloped Contours dies, Long Scalloped Edge die, I die cut off the bottom edge of my Card Front. It's even more pretty in person as it has tiny dots all along the Scalloped edge.
My First Card Front Panel is the Calypso Coral/Fresh/Freesia (new In Color)/Polished Pink (new In Color)/Pale Papaya (new In Color)/Flower pattern in the new Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. I trimmed out my Panel to measure 3" x 4-1/4", rounded two of the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and adhered it to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
My Second Card Front Panel is Calypso Coral Cardstock. Using the Scalloped Contours dies, I die cut out my Panel with the Scalloped/Dashes die.
Using the new Quiet Meadow Stamp Set, I stamped the Dotted Stamp twice; one on the left side and one on the right side of the panel in Calypso Coral Ink by stamping off once onto scrap paper and then onto the Panel without re-inking the stamp. I adhered the Panel onto my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
Using the Pansy Patch Stamp Set, I stamped my Pansy, Leaves and Stems in the following sequence onto Whisper White Cardstock:
Large Pansy
Solid Image Pansy in Pale Papaya Ink - Full Strength.
Detailed Image Pansy in Calypso Coral Ink - Stamp off once.
Large Pansy Center in Bumblebee Ink - Stamp off once.
Small Pansy Center in Calypso Coral Ink - Full Strength.
Tiny Pansy Center in Early Espresso Ink - Full Strength.
(It was easy to stamp the Pansy as you can see through the Acrylic Block and by lining up the 2 indents on each side of the Pansy Petals on the Stamps along with keeping an eye on the top and bottom of the Stamps.)
Budding Pansy on Stem
Small Solid Image Pansy in Pale Papaya Ink - Full Strength.
Small Detailed Image Pansy in Calypso Coral Ink - Stamp off once.
Pansy Stems
Both Stems in Evening Evergreen Ink - Full Strength.
Pansy Leaves
Small and Long Solid Leaf Images in Soft Succulent Ink - Stamp off once.
Small and Long Detailed Leaf Vein Images in Evening Evergreen - Full Strength.
*I forgot to include in my original post to die cut out the images using the coordinating Pansy dies.
I assembled my Pansy, Budding Pansy, Leaves and Stems and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
Using the Pansy Patch Stamp Set, I stamped 'Thank You' in Evening Evergreen Ink onto Soft Succulent Cardstock. I trimmed it out to measure 1/2" x 1-7/8". I did the same with the Calypso Coral/Pale Papaya/Dotted pattern in the Pansy Petals DSP only 1/8" larger on all sides. I also angled each strip, adhered them together and to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
For the inside of my Card:
I adhered another panel of the DSP that measured 4-1/8" x 4-1/2" to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set, I stamped 'You're too kind' in Evening Evergreen Ink onto a Panel of Whisper White Cardstock that measured 3-1/4" x 4" and adhered the Panel to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I adhered three of the new Bumblebee Trinkets with Mono Multi Purpose Glue to my Card Front as shown in the picture above. (One Bumblebee would have been enough; but, I had to show them off...they are too cute!!!)
I adhered four of the new Genial Gems in Mint Macaron to the Scallops on my Card Front. The camera just can't pick up the beauty of these Gems.
