My share for today is a Sneak Peek Happy Mother's Day Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s new Pansy Patch & Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Sets, Pansy Dies, Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and more. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.
My First Card Front Panel is the Small Pansy pattern from the new Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. I trimmed the Panel out to measure 3-3/4" x 5" and adhered it to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
My Second Card Front Pattern is the Bumblebee/Tiny Flower pattern in the Pansy Petals DSP. I trimmed this Panel out to measure 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" and adhered it to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Pansy Dies, I die cut out six Long Leaves and two Short Leaves from the Leaf pattern in the Pansy Petals DSP. I adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue at the base of the Leaf only leaving the tops of the Leaves free of adhesive so I could tuck in my Leaf Stems.
Using the Pansy Patch Stamp Set, I stamped three of the Long Stems in Evening Evergreen Ink and die cut them out with the Pansy dies. I adhered the Stems (up-side-down) behind my Leaves.
Using the Pansy Patch Stamp Set, I stamped my Pansy's in the following sequence onto Whisper White Cardstock:
Large Pansy
Solid Image Pansy in Fresh Freesia Ink - Stamp off once.
Detailed Image Pansy in Blackberry Bliss Ink - Full Strength.
Large Pansy Center in Bumblebee Ink - Stamp off once.
I left the next Center un-inked to show the Whisper White Cardstock.
Tiny Pansy Center in Early Espresso Ink - Full Strength.
(I do need to get a new Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad...mine is old, over used and not doing the Pansy's justice.)
(It was easy to stamp the Pansy as you can see through the Acrylic Block and by lining up the 2 indents on each side of the Pansy Petals on the Stamps along with keeping an eye on the top and bottom of the Pansy Stamps.)
Using the Pansy dies, I die cut out my Pansy's.
I adhered the left and right Pansy with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in the Center of the back of the Pansy only leaving the edges free of adhesive.
I adhered the Center Pansy with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
(If you noted the added Blackberry Bliss Ink in the Center of the Middle Pansy; I dropped my Stamp onto the Pansy and a happy accident arose. It left some cool Ink in the Center of the Pansy.) Accidents happen!!! 😊😊😊 And, this was a happy one!!!
I stamped 'Happy Mother's Day' from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set in Soft Succulent Ink onto a scrap of Soft Succulent Cardstock and trimmed it out to measure 1/2" x 2-3/4". I Flagged the right end with my Snips.
I adhered the 'Happy Mother's Day' Banner to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Pansy dies, I die cut out three Tiny Pansy Centers from Bumblebee Cardstock and adhered them to my Banner with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered nine of the new Clear Epoxy Essentials (Rain or Teardrops shaped) to my Card as shown in the picture above. There is a sheet of Silver and a sheet of Clear Epoxy Essentials that come in the package.
