My share for today is an Alternate Matchbook Favor Project using Stampin' Up's You Are My Anchor April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Let's take a look:
My You Are My Anchor April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternate Card was very popular on my blog last Tuesday so I am sharing the picture with you all again today.
I guess I'm on a Matchbook making frenzy for the past few weeks. I made these little Matchbooks from SU's You Are My Anchor April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Inside each little Matchbook is a Peppermint Candy.
For the Life Saver Matchbook:
I wrapped the Rope Twine from the Kit around the Life Saver die cut 3 times at 4 different places on the Ring and adhered the ends of the twine on the back of the Ring with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Ring to my Matchbook with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the Banner to the Ring with Glue Dots.
Inside the Matchbooks, I stapled in these Peppermint Candies that I got at my local BIG Box Store.
Sorry about the BAD picture of my template. I could not get it any lighter no matter what I tried so you can barely see my score lines. You can actually see the score lines better in the Matchbook picture below.
I trimmed out the Card Bases from the Kit to measure 2" x 5".
I then scored the trimmed out Card Bases at 1/2", 2-3/4" and next is the pre-scored score line at 3".
I folded up the 1/2" section, inserted one of the Peppermint Candies and stapled it with my SU Stapler (Retired) as shown in the picture above.
I got the Matchbook Favor idea when I saw a picture of them on the internet for sale at a very popular Party Company.
For the Anchor Matchbook:
I tied a long length of the Rope Twine on the end of the Anchor die cut and wrapped it around the Anchor. I adhered the Rope Twine down on the back of the Anchor in 2 spots with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Anchor and the Banner to my Matchbook with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the Tag Matchbook:
I tied a long length of Rope Twine around the top of the Matchbook and into a knot. I thread the Rope Twine through the hole in the Tag and then into a Bow.
For the Lighthouse Matchbook:
I trimmed off the bottom Calypso Coral section of the Lighthouse and adhered it to my Matchbook with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Banner to my Matchbook with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I tied a Double length of the Rope Twine into a Knot, trimmed the ends of the Rope Twine and adhered it to the Banner with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
As I stated a few weeks ago, these Matchbooks are so fun and addicting to make. And, they make for the perfect Favor for any Occasion.
I hope you all got a chance to look at or order the Share What You Love Suite. It's beautiful and I hope to work with it next week.
Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!
Blessings!
Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.
With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.
There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!
Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.
As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design. Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
