Well, my Husband officially retired on April 30th and he is already working on many projects around the house. I'm having a hard time keeping up with him. He has Hee Hawed around about retiring for the last 3-4 years and he finally took the BIG step. Congrats Hubby!!!
I got to Pre-Order from Stampin' Up's 2018-2019 Annual Catalog this morning. And, WOWZERS! What an AWESOME catalog it is!!! 😋😋😋 Let's just say "I'm drooling"!!!
My share for today is a 3D Purse project that my Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Kadie, shared with me. The Purses were designed by Angie Pyjas. Here's the link to her You Tube video. http://www.stampingwithamore.com/2018/04/mothers-day-purse-treat-bag.html I've followed Angie for many years now and I'm always in total AWE of all her beautifully designed creations and cards. I hope you get a chance to pop over to Angie's site and see her gorgeous creations. Thank you so much Angie for sharing the instructions to make these darling purses.
Let's take a look at the Purses that I made following Angie's instructions:
Since the 2016-2018 In Color Collection is retiring (except Flirty Flamingo - Flirty Flamingo was moved into Stampin' Up's Brights Collection), I chose to use the 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack for my Purses.
I used SU's 3/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon for all my Bow's.
I used 3 different ways to create my Sentiment Labels.
For my Peekaboo Peach Purse: (Say That 3 Times Really Fast). 😊😊😊
Using SU's You're Inspiring Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Peekaboo Peach Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.
Using the Label die from SU's Petals & More Thinlits Dies, I die cut out my Sentiment and another Label from Peekaboo Peach Cardstock. I put both die cuts back into the Label die and re-die cut them to the length that I wanted. (I shortened both Labels).
I adhered the Sentiment Label to the Peekaboo Peach Label with Stampin' Dimensionals and to the flap on my Purse with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
For my Emerald Envy Purse:
Using SU's You're Inspiring Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Emerald Envy Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.
Using the Banner die from SU's Cross of Hope Framelits Dies, I die cut out my Sentiment Banner and 2 more Banners from Emerald Envy Cardstock.
I adhered the 2 Banners to the back of my Sentiment Banner, one slightly above and one slightly below the Sentiment Banner, (I did a little fussy cutting on the ends of the Emerald Envy Banners and trimmed off one of the flagged ends) with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Purse with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered 2 of SU's Glitter Enamel Dots to the ends of my Sentiment Banner.
For my Flirty Flamingo Purse:
Using SU's Barn Door Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment in Flirty Flamingo Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut it out with SU's coordinating Sliding Door Framelits Dies.
I adhered my Sentiment to the Flap on my Purse with a dab of Mono Multi Purpose Glue at the top and a tiny piece of Stampin' Dimensional just above the Hello on the back of the Sentiment.
For my Sweet Sugarplum Purse:
I did the same as the Flirty Flamingo Purse above.
For another Flirty Flamingo Purse:
I did the same as my Peekaboo Peach Purse for the Labels.
The only thing I did different was to change the direction of the layout for this Purse. It's the same Height and Width; but, it has shorter Handles and a shorter Flap.
I used SU's You're Inspiring Stamp, masked the Because of You Stamp and just stamped the Happy Mother's Day.
For my Dapper Denim Purse:
I did the same as my Emerald Envy Purse for the Banners, I used SU's You're Inspiring Stamp Set for the Sentiment and Dapper Denim Ink.
Thanks again Angie and Kadie!!! I LOVE how my Purses turned out!!!
I hope you all got a chance to look at or order the Share What You Love Suite. It's beautiful and I hope to work with it next week.
Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!
Blessings!
Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.
With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.
There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!
Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.
As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design. Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
These are ADORABLE. I had sooo much fun making these. Thanks for sharing all your darling purses with us.
