Share What You Love, Love What You Do - Card

I hope everyone had a fun, safe and memorable holiday weekend.

It's another beautiful day in Michigan.  The sun is shining full on and not a cloud in the sky.  The temperatures are expected to be in the mid 80's.  Our front yard was flooded again and the pond was almost into the pole barn this weekend.  The storms are supposed to stay North of us so I'm hoping I can get out fishing today!  We will be keeping an eye on the sky for sure.

My share for today is another Card that I made using Stampin' Up's new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and Love What You Do Stamp Set.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is Stampin' Up's Mossy Meadow Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side folding Card.

My Card Front Panel is the Petal Pink/Flower Script pattern from SU's Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My first Banner is Old Olive Cardstock cut at 2-3/8" x 4-3/4".  I used SU's Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends.

My second Banner is the Rich Razzleberry Striped patter from Share What You Love Specialty DSP cut at 1" x 3-1/2".  I again used SU's Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends.

I adhered the 2 Banners together and to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Love What You Do Stamp Set, I stamped the Flowers onto Whisper White Cardstock, colored them with my Light and Dark Stampin' Blends and fussy cut them out.

I also fussy cut a Leaf Stem and 3 Leaves from Share What You Love Specialty DSP.

Using SU's Starburst Punch, I punched a Starburst from SU's new Petal Pink Cardstock.

I adhered the Leaf Stem with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on about 1" of the bottom underneath of the Stem and left the top of the Leaf Stem free of adhesive.

I adhered the 2 Longest Flowers on the right with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the Stems only and Stampin' Dimensionals underneath the Flowers.

I adhered the Flower on the left with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the Stem and just a little on the bottom back of the Flower.

I adhered the 3 Leaves with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the bottom underneath of the Leaves and left the tops free of adhesive.

I cut a length of SU's new Rich Razzleberry Thick Baker's Twine, tied a Bow and adhered it to my Flowers with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered 3 of SU's Faceted Dots as shown in the picture above.

I trimmed out a panel of Petal Pink Cardstock to measure 3-3/4" x 5 and adhered it to the inside of my Card.

I left the inside of my Card blank as I have to find some quiet downtime to write a letter.

I love the mixture of colors in this card and the Share What You Love Specialty DSP is just full of color and flowers.

Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!

Blessings!

Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design.  Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
