My Share for today is a Butterfly Card that I made using Stampin' Up's Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and a Sneak Peek of SU's new Abstract Impressions Stamp Set and coordinating Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies. Let's take a look:
So many beautiful Flowers in SU's new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. I'm in LOVE!!!!
My Card Base is Stampin' Up's new Grapefruit Grove Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a side folding Card.
My Card Front Panel is the Mint Macaron/Flower pattern from SU's Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies, I die cut the Butterfly from SU's new Petal Pink Cardstock.
I then traced the outside of the Butterfly Die with a pencil onto Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and fussy cut it out.
I adhered both Butterflies together with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I cut a length of SU's new Rich Razzleberry Thick Baker's Twine, looped it around the Butterfly, thread the ends through the loop and pulled it closed. I added a small drop of Mono Multi Purpose Glue to the Twine in the back of the knot to hold it together.
Here's a picture of the Butterfly up-side-right as I have my Butterfly on my Card coming in for a landing (up-side-down) on the Petal Pink Flowers. I adhered 2 of the Faceted Dots to the top of the Twines' knot for eyes for my Butterfly. I'm part color blind so the first time that I took my pictures of my Card, you could notice that I had one Rich Razzleberry dot and one Basic Black Dot for the Butterflies' eye's. Gosh, did that look goofy! So, I changed it and made them both Basic Black eyes and re-took my pictures. Oopsy!!! My Butterfly looks beautiful again.
For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's Starburst Punch, I punched a Starburst from So Saffron Cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed out a strip of Mint Macaron Cardstock to measure 1" x 4" and punched the one end with SU's Triple Banner Punch to make my Banner.
Using SU's Abstract Impressions Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment onto my Mint Macaron Banner and adhered the left end of my Banner to the Starburst with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut a Petal Pink Flower Stem from the Mint Macaron/Flower pattern from SU's Love What You Do Specialty DSP and adhered it to the Starburst with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I just love the new Abstract Impressions Stamp Set and the coordinating Springtime Impressions dies. I can't wait to order again from SU's new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog this Friday, June 1st. Yay!!!
Wishing you all a warm and sunny day!!!
Blessings!
Lynn

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, Stampin' Up! decided it was time to give their color collections a makeover.
With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.
There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.
.
In order to keep their color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, they moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection and also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!
Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections.

In addition to new colors, they also redesigned their ink pads. The case is a new, more intuitive design and they’ve improved the formula of the ink, as well! We think you will love these changes.
As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to order the new In-Color Ink Pads and I just LOVE the new design. Stampin' Up! never ceases to amaze me!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
