Tag a Bag Project by Stampin' Up

Stampin' Up did an awesome Tag a Bag Project that we could make and share for classes with our Customers or on our social media.  My Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Kadie, and I spent last Sunday putting the Tag a Bag's together.  I picked up some goodies to fill my bags and hope to get some of them off in the mail soon.

The Tag a Bag Accessory Kit that Stampin' Up sells for $8.00 and can be found on page 151 of the 2015-2016 SU Annual Catalog.  The kit is perfect to add finishing touches to little gifts or treats.  The contents include 10 large base tags, 12 medium builder tags, 60' of linen thread, 6 doilies, 40 Stampin' Dimensionals, 10 gold paper clips and 5 Calypso Coral adhesive strips.  The kits coordinating colors are Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Night of Navy and White.

SU's Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags sell for $3.50.  They are colorable, stampable and customizable Kraft bags to fill with little gifts.  The bags measure 4 3/4" x 6 1/2", are food safe and come in packs of 10.

SU's Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bags are translucent with fun dots.  They sell for $4.00 for a pack of 10.

SU's Tag a Bag Gift Boxes coordinate with the Tag a Bag Accessory Kits also.  There are 8 Kraft boxes with acetate sleeves for $7.00.  These are also food safe.  Each box measures 6 7/8" x 2 1/8" x 2 1/2".

The Tag a Bag Accessory Kit that is in Stampin' Up's Clearance Rack right now and is selling for $3.19 each.

Our project used the following Stampin' Up Items:
   Tag a Bag Accessory Kit
Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags
   You're So Sweet Stamp Set
   Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper
   Basic Black Archival Ink

Below are some pic's of the Tag a Bags that I made following the picture's on the video that Stampin' Up shared with us.  I will share the instructions on how to make the bag at the end of my post:

I prettied up my Hershey Chocolate candy bars by wrapping them in 4" x 5" pieces of SU Designer Series Paper from the Love Blossoms DSP Pack.

It was really cool to stamp on the strips of Calypso Coral adhesive strips.  You had to be careful as they were a bit 'slippery' to stamp on.

There really is a small box of Conversation Candy Hearts in the bag but I didn't get them in the picture.  It kind of sunk to the bottom of the bag.  =0   I also put some red and white straws and some heart suckers in some of my bags.

The Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper is AWESOME!!!  So pretty and full of glitter, sparkle and shine.

You can also put a lot of different candies, pencils, heart note pads, erasers and, if you are a Demonstrator, Stampin' Up product in the bags.

These were so fun to make.  We did do some masking on some of them also.

We used two different words on the adhesive tape in the picture above.

SU's Linen Thread makes some awesome bows.  So easy to tie.

We also masked off the top and sides of the heart stamp so we only got the word LOVE with a little bit of the lines on each end.  Fabulous!!!

I cut SU's Tea Lace doilies in half and used a half on each bag.

Pictured above is where to score the Kraft bag.  Measure 4 1/2" up from the bottom of the bag and score across (score at the dotted line shown in the picture).

Take your scissors and cut each top side down to the score line and fold the flap forward.

Now how easy is that!

That was a lot and hope you enjoyed it!!!  Thanks for visiting my blog today!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  Please be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!

If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.
