Stampin' Up Striped Scallop Heart Valentine's Tag a Bag

Happy Friday!  Gosh it sure got cold!  The weatherman is calling for 12 degrees for a high.  Ewww....

Today I'd like to share a Stampin' Up Tag a Bag that I made for my Husband's Valentine's Day card.  I know it's not masculine; but, that's o.k. with me as it shows my feminine LOVE for him.

Let's take a look:

I just LOVE how my heart and my heart banner turned out!

Isn't that scallop cool!!!

I took one of the Blushing Bride hearts from Stampin' Up's January Cute Conversations Monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit and die-cut out a heart in the center using SU's Heart Collection Framelits Die's (Retired - third one from center).

I die-cut the scallops using SU's Striped Scallop Thinlit Die with SU's Rose Red Card Stock.  I then trimmed it down to fit the center heart opening and adhered it to the back of the Blushing Bride heart with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.  What a cool effect!!!

Using SU's Confetti Hearts Border Punch, I punched a bunch of little hearts out of Rose Red Card Stock and adhered them to the Blushing Bride heart with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

I adhered the heart to one of SU's Dotted Kraft Bags (Retired) using Stampin' Dimensionals.  You can always stamp your own dots on a plain Kraft bag if you would like.  I've also used the eraser on the end of a pencil to stamp dots with.

Another cool effect!!!

I took the leftover edges from die cutting SU's Striped Scallop Die and made a triple row of scallops for the flap on the bag.  How cool is that!!! Then I added more little hearts in SU's Blushing Bride Card Stock.  LOVE how this turned out!

Stampin' Up's Glimmer paper is just so fabulous.  I'm in LOVE with the Blushing Bride color of this paper.  It just glistens and sparkles so much!

For the bottom three flags, I used SU's Hearts a Flutter Framelits Die's (Retired) and die-cut the flags out of Blushing Bride and Rose Red Card Stock and Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.  The flags were all adhered together using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.

The tiny hearts on the flags were die-cut using SU's Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die's.

I used SU's Sweetheart Punch to punch the top heart out of the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and adhered it to the top of the flags using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The center heart was stamped (using Marker-to-Stamp Technique) on SU's Whisper White Card Stock from SU's Happy Notes Stamp Set using Rose Red Ink.

And, of course, I had to pretty up one of SU's Natural Wood Clothespins with some Blushing Bride Card Stock and some more hearts from SU's Confetti Border Punch.

I am so pleased with the way it all came together!

Well, that's all I have for today!  Have a great weekend and hope you can come back on Monday!
