And it's Monday again! Our weather is just crazy for Michigan. It was sunny and in the mid 40's for Saturday, rain on Sunday but still in the mid 40's and sunny and in the mid 40's again today. I'll take it!
We have a Blog Candy Winner today! Yay! But first, let me share my Stampin' Up Cute Conversations Paper Pumpkin Kit Banner with you and then I'll share the Blog Candy Winner at the bottom of my post! Thanks to all who participated!
Phew...this was a tough project to photograph. This is going to be a long post with lots of pic's. You will get to see my pretty cabinets in my Studio too! Here we go:
I just love how my Valentine's Day banner came together. I used the hearts and some left over pieces from the kit to make my flagged banners on the hearts and in between the hearts.
And, how about those awesome cabinets in my Studio. Aren't they pretty!!! =)
Stampin' Up's Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace Trim sure put the pretty in my banner! The ribbon is not included in the kit, sorry!
And, so did SU's Watermelon Wonder Sequin Trim. The sequin's sure added the sparkle and shine to my banner. The trim is included in the kit. Yay!
I just LOVE SU's Two-Tone Mint Macaron/Whisper White Thick Backer's Twine. The twine is included in the kit. Yay!
I prettied up SU's Natural Wood clothespins with some of SU's Designer Series Paper and some little heart's that I die cut from the leftover paper in the kit.
I sure got my monies worth out of this kit with all the cards and projects that I made. And, I still have leftover hearts, banners, twine and sequins. I will be making more cards and projects with these leftover items too!
I used SU's Watermelon Wonder ink on all my cards and projects in this blog post and my previous 5 blog posts. Time to re-ink my stamp pad!
I used SU's Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends on the banners on my hearts. On my Watermelon Wonder Ribbon banners pictured above, I used the left over piece from the flagged end that got punched off with the Triple Banner Punch.
I trimmed out the negative banner pieces of paper in the kit and used them for the banners on my hearts.
The pink with white hearts paper is from SU's new Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Pack.
In the picture above, I used SU's new Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper for the punched leftover piece on the banner and the clothespin. The Birthday Bouquet DSP matches with SU's Cute Conversations Paper Pumpkin Kit perfectly.
Here I used the negative leftover piece from die-cutting some of the little hearts using SU's Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die. No waste for this Girl!!!!! =)
I stamped the banners that come in the kit using the stamp set that comes with the kit in SU's Watermelon Wonder Ink. I attached the arrow's stamp on my block and then added the little heart stamp underneath the last arrow, inked it up and stamped away!
Ahhhh, another pretty piece of SU's Birthday Bouquet DSP. This has got to be my FAVE design piece from this pack.
The DSP on this flagged leftover piece and the clothespin is from SU's new Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper.
I pulled off some of the sequin's from SU's Watermelon Wonder Sequin Trim and randomly glued some on the hearts.
The thick white twisted twine that I used to clip all my pieces on is from SU's Build A Banner Kit on page 155 in SU's annual catalog. I will be using SU's Build A Banner kit to make another banner in the near future. SU's Build A Banner kit has some AWESOME pennant and heart canvas pieces (18), 26 alphabet stencils, 10 number stencils, 5 image stencils and 4 masking stencils. I can't wait to try this kit and see what I come up with!
I'm running out of things to say, except I LOVE my new banner!!! It will look so pretty above the doorway in my Studio.
EXCEPT...to announce my Blog Candy winner........... (I had my Hubby pick from the bowl of names)...............
DRUM ROLL PLEASE............

I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
cards; but, Please be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
If you are
interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me

Lynn......I am BLOWN AWAY with how GORGEOUS this project is. You blew this one out of the water and have to say that it's the prettiest banner I've seen. Amazing how you used all the pieces for some pretty and very attractive accent pieces. THANKS for sharing......My 2-extra kits will be here this week......Going to CASE this one my friend (but I'll make sure I give you create for it).
