It's another beautiful, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 39F with a low tonight of 20F. The winds are NW at 15 to 20mph.
My share for today is TEN, yes (10), of Suit & Tie Cards that I made using Stampin' Up! products from the 2021 Mini Occasions Catalog and some items from my personal stash. Let's take a look:
I'm still having a blast playing with the Well Suited Bundle!!! Jenny McCormac, a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, shared this project with us during our virtual OnStage Event. There are many different ways to use the dies and play around with Suits, Shirts, Pajama's, Bride & Groom and even Medical Coats. So very Versatile!!! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us Jenny!
So, I made 10 Cards to share with you today. I did not put any Sentiments on them yet; but, I will when I'm in need of a Masculine Card. I will write a long write-up on the first Card and then a brief write-up on the rest of the Cards as I go along.
My Card Base is Basic Gray Cardstock.
I trimmed out a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Card Front Panel from Whisper White Cardstock.
I trimmed out another 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Panel from the Gray/White Stripe pattern in the Well Suited Designer Series Paper.
Using the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut out the V in the Gray/White Stripe Panel. I also die cut out the Lapel and a Pocket from another piece of the same DSP.
I die cut out a Collar from Whisper White Cardstock and another Collar, a Tie and Knot and Buttons from Night of Navy Cardstock.
The first thing that I did was to adhere the Collar with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the Lapel to the Jacket with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Knot to the Tie with a Stampin' Dimensional and to my Shirt with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. You want to adhere the Tie first and then the Jacket.
I then adhered the Jacket to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered the Pocket to the Jacket with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on three edges only leaving the top free of adhesive so you can tuck your Handkerchief into the top of the Pocket.
I pulled the Night of Navy Collar apart and adhered it into the Pocket with Glue Dots for a Handkerchief.
I adhered two Buttons to the Jacket with Glue Dots.
I adhered the Jacket onto the Basic Gray Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered one Metallic Pearl to the Tie for a Tie Tack.
My Card Base is Pacific Point Cardstock.
I die cut the Shirt and Collar from the Striped pattern in the Welled Suited DSP.
I die cut the Jacket, Lapel, Pocket and Buttons from Pacific Point Cardstock.
I die cut the Tie and Knot and the Collar for the Handkerchief from Basic Black Cardstock.
I adhered a Gilded Gem to the Tie for a Tie Tack.
My Card Base is Early Espresso Cardstock.
I die cut the Shirt, Collar and Buttons from Early Espresso Cardstock.
