It's a gorgeous, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 32F with a low of 18F for tonight. The winds are N at 10 to 15mph.
My share for today is a Get Well Soon Card that I made using Stampin' Up! products from the 2021 Mini Occasions Catalog and some items from my personal stash. Let's take a look:
I'm having a blast playing with the Well Suited Bundle!!! Jenny McCormac, a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, shared this project with us during our virtual OnStage Event. There are many different ways to use the dies and play around with Suits, Shirts, Pajama's, Bride & Groom and even Medical Coats. So very Versatile!!! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us Jenny!
My Card Base is Pacific Point Cardstock.
I didn't get the dimensions of this Pajama Shirt pictured above so I came up with my own dimensions. I trimmed out a rectangle from the Plaid/Pacific Point/White pattern in the DSP to measure 2-7/8" x 3-5/8". I then cut down the center lengthwise at 1-3/8". I adhered them together by overlapping the two panels 1/8" in the middle for the center opening of the Shirt as shown in the picture above.
I trimmed out a 3/16" strip of the Plaid pattern DSP and adhered it down the Center of the Pajama Shirt.
Using the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut out a shorter version of the Lapel and three Sleeves from the same pattern of DSP. I adhered the Lapel to my Shirt with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and two of the Sleeves behind the Shirt with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. (I trimmed a little off the top of the Sleeve to make them even with the top of the Shirt.)
I saved the V shaped negative Plaid DSP piece from cutting out the Lapel. I die cut another V shaped piece from Vellum. I adhered the Vellum over the front of the V shaped DSP and then adhered it to the back of the Pajama Shirt with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above. (Makes sure not to get glue in the V or it will show through the Vellum - this is for the lining in the Pajama Shirt.)
I die cut out the six Buttons die from Pacific Point Cardstock and adhered three of them down the Center Strip of the Pajama Shirt with Mono Multi Purpose Glue. I also die cut out the top of the Pocket from Pacific Point Cardstock.
I trimmed down the third Pocket until I got a size that I thought would fit the Pajama Shirt. I adhered the Pocket to my Pajama Shirt with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed down the top of the Pocket and adhered it to the top of the Pocket.
I adhered the Pajama Shirt to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set, I stamped Get Well Soon in Memento Black Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
Using the Stitched Rectangles Dies, I die cut out my Get Well Soon with the Small Stitched Rectangle Die.
I adhered the Get Well Soon to my Card with both Mono Multi Purpose Glue and a Stampin' Dimensional as shown in the picture above.
I adhered four Black Adhesive Backed Sequins from the Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Kit to my Card as shown in the picture above.
The Well Suited Bundle is so much fun to play around with and mix and match different designs. It's a great bundle to make Cards for both Men and Women.
Make something Brilliant today!!!
