It's another beautiful, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 61F with a low tonight of 46F. The winds are NW at 15 to 20mph.
My share for today is a Dr.'s Medical Coat Card that I made using Stampin' Up! products from the 2021 Mini Occasions Catalog and some items from my personal stash. Let's take a look:
I'm not done with the Suit & Tie Bundle yet!!! I'm still having a blast playing with it!!! Jenny McCormac, a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, shared projects with us during our virtual OnStage Event. There are many different ways to use the dies and play around with Suits, Shirts, Sweaters, Pajama's, Bride & Groom and even Medical Coats. So very Versatile!!! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us Jenny!
My Card Base is Seaside Spray Cardstock.
My Card Front Panel (the Shirt) is Seaside Spray Cardstock trimmed out to measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". I trimmed the Panel in half lengthwise. I adhered both Panels to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut out the Collar and Five Buttons from Seaside Spray Cardstock.
I adhered the Collar to the Shirt with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and the Buttons down the Front of the Shirt with Glue Dots.
I trimmed out a Panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" for the Medical Coat.
Using the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut a V in the Coat. (I moved the V up some on the Panel for a shorter opening in the Coat.)
I die cut out a Lapel, Buttons and a Pocket from Whisper White Cardstock.
I adhered the Lapel and Pocket to the Coat with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered Three Buttons under the V and down the Front of the Coat with Glue Dots.
I adhered the Coat to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Now, don't laugh too hard...I had to put a Tongue Depressor, Pencil and an Otoscope in the Pocket. (I had to look up the name of the instrument that Dr.'s use to check your Ears - an OTOSCOPE.) O.K. I hear you laughing!!! 😊😊😊
Anyways, using the Skinny Rectangle Die (for the Top of the Pocket) in the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut out one in Bumblebee, one in Petal Pink, one in Crumb Cake and one in Silver Foil.
I also die cut out Two Buttons from Basic Black Cardstock.
I trimmed off 3/16" from the Petal Pink die cut and adhered it to the Top of the Bumblebee die cut with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I trimmed one of the Black Buttons into Thirds and adhered one Third to the other end of the Pencil (for the Lead) with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
For the Tongue Depressor:
I left the Crumb Cake die cut as it is for a Tongue Depressor.
For the Otoscope:
I trimmed about Two Thirds off lengthwise from the Silver Foil die cut.
I adhered a whole Black Button to the Top of the Silver Foil die cut with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered one of the leftover Button Thirds to the edge of the First Black Button on the Otoscope with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I tucked all three items into the Coat's Pocket as shown in the picture above.
Now, that was fun to design!!! 😊😊😊
It was a lot of fun and a pleasure to work with the Well Suited Bundle. Thanks again, Jenny, for showing us your examples. I think I got carried away with all of mine. 😊😊😊
