It's another beautiful, sunny day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 57F with a low tonight of 29F. The winds are WSW at 15 to 25mph.
My share for today is a Bride and two Groom Cards that I made using Stampin' Up! products from the 2021 Mini Occasions Catalog and some items from my personal stash. Let's take a look:
Yup!!! I'm still having a blast playing with the Well Suited Bundle!!! Jenny McCormac, a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, shared the Well Suited project with us during our virtual OnStage Event. There are many different ways to use the dies and play around with Suits, Shirts, Pajama's, Bride & Groom and even Medical Coats. So very Versatile!!! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us Jenny!
My Card Base is Petal Pink Cardstock.
I trimmed out a Panel of Petal Pink Cardstock to measure 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" for my Card Front Panel (the Gown). I ran the Panel through my Stampin' Up! Cut & Emboss Machine with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. So pretty and my FAVE Stampin' Up! Embossing Folder. 😊😊😊
Using the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut out the V in the top of the Gown.
I cut a length of 7/8" Sahara Sand Lace Trim (Retired-Sorry, that's the only Large Ribbon that I have in my Personal Stash.) I adhered the Lace Trim to the V neck with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I cut a length of Silver Thread (Retired), wrapped it through the top of a Silver Heart Charm twice and adhered each end of the Thread to the back of the Gown with both Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Tape. I think it turned out very well for a Necklace. 😊😊😊
Using the Suit & Tie Dies, I die cut out six Buttons from a scrap of Petal Pink Cardstock and adhered them under the V and down the front of the Gown with Glue Dots as shown in the picture above.
I also adhered six Small Basic Jewel Rhinestones to each Button.
I adhered one Large Iced Rhinestone (Retired) to the V Neck with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.
I adhered the Gown to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
(I'm not sure why; but, my Camera picked up Green for my Sahara Sand Cardstock. It is actually supposed to be the color of Sand. Even the Petal Pink turned out darker than it is in real life.) Anyways ...
My Card Base is Whisper White Cardstock.
I trimmed out a Panel of Sahara Sand Cardstock to measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" for the Suit Jacket.
Using the Suit & Tie dies, I die cut out the V in the Suit Jacket. I also die cut out the Lapel and the Bow Tie and Knot from Petal Pink Cardstock
I ran the Bow Tie and Knot through my Stampin' Up! Cut & Emboss Machine with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.
I also die cut out one Collar and Six Buttons from Whisper White Cardstock and Two Buttons from Sahara Sand Cardstock.
I adhered the Collar to the Card Base with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered the Knot to the Bow Tie and to my Card with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above.
I trimmed out a Strip of Whisper White Cardstock to measure 5/16". I put the Strip in my Trimmer lengthwise and scored it 3 times; each about 1/16" apart. This Strip is the Placket of the Shirt. I adhered the Placket to the Shirt with a Long Strip of Foam Adhesive making sure it was centered down the Shirt for when the Jacket is adhered.
I adhered Five Whisper White Buttons and Five Small Basic Jewel Rhinestones down the Center of the Placket.
I adhered the Lapel to the Jacket with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered Two Sahara Sand Buttons under the V in the Jacket with Glue Dots.
I made another Groom Card this time using Basic Gray (although it looks Black) for the Jacket and Buttons. All the rest is the same as my other Groom Card.
It was a lot of fun and a pleasure to work with the Well Suited Bundle. Thanks again, Jenny, for showing us your examples. I think I am getting carried away with all my examples. 😊😊😊
