With that being said, I thought I would bring a little virtual Easter Sunday happiness or maybe a Smile to you from the two Easter Baskets that I designed!!! Let's take a look:
The Baskets are a breeze to make!
I chose the Multi Color Polka Dot/White paper from the 6" x 6" All Dressed Up Designer Series Paper.
I scored the Paper at 2" on all four sides. I trimmed the score lines on two sides (top and bottom) up to the next score line to create my flaps.
It's just like making the top of a Box only you don't bring the two end side flaps up evenly. You bring the two corners on the end flaps together so the two corners of the flaps form a point.
I folded my two corner flaps together to form a point at the top, brought my middle flap up and used my 1/8" Hand Held Circle Punch to punch a hole through all 3 Flaps. I also punched a hole in each end of the Handle.
I then secured the Handle onto the Basket by putting one of Stampin' Up!'s small, silver Brads through all three holes on the Basket and through the one hole in the Handle.
I did the same on the other side.
Using Full of Happiness Stamp Set, I stamped my Half Egg Stamp with Gorgeous Grape Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and die cut it out using Dino Dies.
I adhered the Stamped Half Egg onto the side of my Basket with Stampin' Dimensionals on the outer edge only leaving enough room in the center to tuck my Chick in behind the Half Egg.
Using Full of Happiness Stamp Set, I stamped the Chick in So Saffron Ink, the Eye's in Early Espresso and the Beak and Feet in Pumpkin Pie Ink.
I fussy cut out the Chick and tucked him behind the Half Egg.
For my Smaller Basket, I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to measure
4-1/2" x 4-1/2" and scored it on all side at 1-1/2".
I repeated the steps listed above to create my Basket.
I trimmed out a strip of Paper for the Handle from Stampin' Up!'s Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper to measure 1/2" x 6".
I stamped my Half Egg in Pumpkin Pie Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.
Using Welcome Easter Stamp Set, I stamped my Chick in Black Memento Ink onto Daffodil Delight Cardstock.
I adhered the Half Egg the same as the first Basket and tucked the Chick in behind the Half Egg.
I put some Green Crinkle Paper in my Baskets and put some Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs on top!!!
I can't believe that I still had some of the Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs left to put in my Baskets.😊😊😊
Have a Blessed Easter!!!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
