I'll Bee Yours January 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Special Someone, Special Day, Birthday, Detailed Heart, Best Dressed - Alternate Card - II

It's another cloudy day today in Midland, Michigan.  Our high temp for today is 36F with a low of 31F for tonight.  The winds are light and variable.

My share for today is an Alternate Card that I designed using Stampin' Up!'s January 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit called I'll Bee Yours and some products from the new 2020 Mini Occasions Catalog.  Let's take a look:

How cool is this Raccoon!!!  I LOVE how real life he looks!!!  This adorable Raccoon totally captured my Heart.  He is from Stampin' Up!'s new Special Someone Stamp Set in the 2020 Mini Occasions Catalog.  And … there are Coordinating Dies called Special Day Dies.  WooHoo!!!

My Card Base is the Petal Pink Card Base from Stampin' Up!'s Best Dressed Note Cards & Envelopes.  You get 24 - 3" x 3" Cards and Envelopes; 8 each of 3 colors … Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Purple Posy.

The Special Someone Stamp Set is a Two-Step Stampin' Technique.  I always stamp the Detailed Image Stamp first in the Darkest Ink Color.  Next, I stamp the Solid Image Stamp over the Top of the Detailed Image with the Lightest Ink Color.

So ... for the Raccoon ... I stamped the Detailed Image Stamp in Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.  Next, I stamped the Solid Image Stamp over the Top with Smokey Slate Ink.  It's very easy to see through the Photopolymer Stamps so you can line up the Images.

And ... Did I mention that there are 23 Stamps in the Special Someone Stamp Set!!!

Using the Coordinating Special Day Dies, I die cut out my Raccoon and adhered him to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Birthday Dies that Coordinate with Stampin' Up!'s new Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set, I die cut out the Leaf Stem from Mint Macaron Cardstock and three of the Bud Stems from Shaded Spruce Cardstock (save one for the inside of the Card).

I adhered the two Shaded Spruce Stems behind the Raccoon as shown in the picture above.

Using the I'll Bee Yours Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped the Die Cut Label from the Kit in Mint Macaron Ink.  I adhered the Label with Stampin' Dimensionals underneath my Raccoon.

I trimmed one Leaf off of the Mint Macaron Leaf Stem.  I adhered the two Leaves under the Raccoon and one Leaf over the top corner of my Label as shown in the picture above.

I adhered a Petal Pink Heart that was left over from die cutting out the Detailed Heart Die from yesterdays project to the Raccoon with a Stampin' Dimensional.

I adhered one of the Bee Die Cuts from the Kit to my Card with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered three of the Flower Sequins from the Kit to the Bud Stems as shown in the picture above.

Pictured above is the Coordinating Petal Pink Envelope.  It is so pretty with the Printed Flowers on it.

Using the I'll Bee Yours Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Valentine's Day on the Front of the Envelope and also on the inside of my Card with Mint Macaron Ink.

I adhered the third Leaf Stem and another Flower Sequin as shown in the picture above.

If you have never used a 'Two-Step' Stamp Set, I'd suggest that you give one a try.  Some sets can be very interesting by  swapping up the Ink colors.  You never know, you may come up with a really cool color combination.

Now, if this adorable Raccoon didn't capture your heart, then I don't know what would!!!

Have a Blessed Day!!!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
