My share for today is a Birthday Card that I designed using new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2020 Mini Occasions Catalog. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is Grapefruit Grove Cardstock cut at 6" x 6" and scored and folded at 3" for a side opening 3" x 6" Card.
My Card Front Panel is the Daffodil Delight/Grapefruit Grove Striped Pattern from the new Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper.
I trimmed out a 3" long strip of the Candle Pattern and adhered it to the Center of my Card.
Using the Bonanza Dies, I die cut out the Lion's Body, Mane, Tip of the Lion's Tail and his Face from the Lion Pattern in the DSP.
I adhered a scrap strip of Whisper White Cardstock to the back of the Lion's Mane and Body to adhere the two together.
I adhered the Tip of the Lion's Tail to his Tail.
I adhered the Lion's Face with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Aren't these Bright and Bold Colors just so Scrumptious!!!
Using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I die cut out a Stitched Rectangle from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock.
I cut a length of the new Daffodil Delight 1/4" Ruched Ribbon, wrapped it around the Rectangle and tied it into a knot.
For my Candles: Using the Classic Label Punch, I punched two Labels from the Bermuda Bay Confetti Pattern and one Label from the Daffodil Delight/Mango Melody Confetti Pattern in the DSP. I trimmed one end straight off of the Labels (Candles) and adhered them to the Rectangle as shown in the picture above.
Using the Bonanza Dies, I die cut out two Splats from the Daffodil Delight/Mango Melody Pattern and one Splat from the Bermuda Bay Confetti Pattern. I adhered the Splats to the top of my Candles.
I adhered my Lion to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered two Scrap pieces of the Candle Pattern in the DSP with Stampin' Dimensionals; one piece under the top and one piece under the bottom of the Rectangle.
I then adhered the Center of the Rectangle and the two scrap pieces to my Card with Multi Purpose Glue.
I liked the look of the Rectangle with the Center being adhered to my Card with Multi Purpose Glue and the two ends of the Rectangle being adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. It was something different to do and I liked how it looked.
For the inside of my Card:
Using the Painted Labels Dies, I die cut out one Label from Daffodil Delight Cardstock. I adhered the Label to the inside of my Card leaving the bottom of the Label free of Adhesive so I could tuck a scrap of the Daffodil Delight/Mango Melody Striped Pattern under the bottom of the Label.
Using the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Birthday in Black Memento Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.
Using the Label Me Fancy Punch, I punched out the Happy Birthday and adhered it to the inside of my Card as shown in the picture above.
I adhered the scrap of DSP under the bottom of the Label.
Have a Blessed Day!!!

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
