Birthday Bonanza Buddies - Tag I

Gosh, it's another windy day today in Midland, Michigan.  I always worry that the power will go out which it normally does with such high winds.  It looks gorgeous out with the sun shining full on; but, it sure doesn't feel like the temp is 39.  It's more like 10 with the wind chill.  Our low temp for tonight is 29.

My share for today is a Bonanza Buddy Tag that I designed using new products from Stampin' Up!'s new 2020 Mini Occasions Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  Let take a look:

Can we all say Awwwwwwwww together now!!!  The Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper has these darling Lions, Toucans and even Koala Bears.  You can die cut the animals out of the DSP with the Bonanza Dies or you can stamp the animals (and much more) using the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set, So, being such an animal lover, I couldn't pass up ordering the Birthday Bonanza Suite.  It's just too adorable!!!

The Bonanza Dies even has a 'Stitched Tag' that you can die cut so I die cut my Tag from Thick Whisper White Cardstock.

I forgot to take a picture of the back of my Tag.  Using the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set, I stamped To: and From: in Black Memento Ink on the back of my Tag.

I fussy cut out two rows of Candles 2-1/8" in length from the Birthday Bonanza DSP and I trimmed out a panel of the Sparkle DSP the same length.  

I adhered the Sparkle panel to the top of my Tag, adhered one of the Candle panels underneath the Sparkle panel and then adhered the second Candle panel to the bottom of my Tag as shown in the picture above.

Using the Bonanza Dies, I die cut out the Lion's Body, Head and Tail.  

I adhered a scrap strip of Whisper White Cardstock to the back of the Lion's Body and then adhered the Lion's Head to the strip so it was snug to the Body as shown in the picture above.

I adhered the Tip of the Lion's Tail to the Lion's Tail. 

I then die cut out the Lion's Party Hat from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock, the Hat Pom Pom from the Bermuda Bay/Coastal Cabanna Confetti pattern in the DSP and the Balloons from Mango Medley, Terracotta Tile and Bermuda Bay Cardstock.

I adhered the Pom Pom to the Hat and then to the Lion's Head.

I fussy cut some very thin strips from Scrap Basic Black Cardstock and adhered one to each balloon for the Strings.  I then adhered the Balloons together as shown in the picture above.

I also ordered the new Country Club Suite from the new 2020 Mini Catalog.  It's everything you need to make Cards, 3D Projects, Tags and Scrapbook Layouts for the avid Golfer.

I cut a length of the Basic Black Twine from the Country Club Twine Combo Pack.  I pulled two threads and used them to tie a Bow around the Balloons.  The Twine comes in Basic Black, Garden Green, Night of Navy and Poppy Parade.

 

I adhered the Lion and the Balloons to my Tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Birthday in Black Memento Ink onto a Scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.

I flipped my Happy Birthday Stamp over on my Block so that I could use the reverse side of the Stamp to stamp over the top of my Happy Birthday.  I inked the back of the Stamp up with Grapefruit Grove Ink and stamped it over the top of my Happy Birthday.

I fussy cut out the Happy Birthday.

I adhered the Happy Birthday to my Tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a length of the Basic Black Twine and tied it to the top of my Tag as shown in the picture.

I was able to get some FREE products from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and one of them is the Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins Combo Pack.  The twine comes in Bermuda Bay and So Saffron.  The Sequins are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and So Saffron.

I cut a length of the Bermuda Bay Metallic Twine and tied it around the Basic Black Twine and into a Bow.
