My share for today is a Purse from the Best Dressed Suite in the new Stampin' Up! Mini Occasions Catalog. The Purse that I'm sharing with you today holds 3 each of the Best Dressed 3" x 3" Note Cards and Envelopes. Let's take a look:
I LOVE creating 3D projects and Stampin' Up!'s new All Dressed Up Purse Dies are just the right ones for me!!!
And … the Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper has some Gorgeous, Gorgeous Floral Designs. It also has paper designed with Shoes, Purses, Perfume Bottles and Lipsticks/Makeup/Brushes.
I made this Purse so the Gusseted sides of the Purse fold outward.
With the Gusseted sides of the Purse folded outward, the Purse can then hold 3" x 3" Cards and Envelopes. I put the three 3" x 3" Cards and Envelopes that I shared on my blog in the past few days in my Purse. Here's a re-cap of the 3 Cards and Envelopes.
I used Stampin' Up!'s Special Someone Stamp Set and the coordinating Special Day Dies to design the three Cards and Envelopes.
I chose the Lovely Lipstick/Petal Pink Floral pattern in the Best Dressed DSP to die cut my Purse.
Using the All Dressed Up Dies, I also die cut two Handles, the Purse Pocket and the Band/Latch from Petal Pink Cardstock.
I die cut four Buckles from Gold Foil Paper.
I assembled my Purse with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I remember my Mom having a Purse similar to this one and it had a snap in Key Ring so I designed one for my 3D Purse too.
So, I die cut the two Small Buttons from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock.
Using the Be Mine Stitched Dies, I die cut my Heart from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock.
I adhered the Pocket to the Purse with Tear & Tape Adhesive on the two sides and bottom of the Pocket.
I snipped the Band/Latch in half. I adhered the Heart to the back of the half Band/Latch. I cut a short length of 1/8" Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain Ribbon, put it through the end of the Key (the Key is from the Classic Garage Metal Elements) and adhered the ends of the Ribbon together. I then adhered the ends of the Ribbon in-between the two halves of the Band/Latch.
I adhered one Small Button to the top of the Band and one to the top of the Pocket. I slid the Key with the Band/Latch into the Pocket of my Purse.
I'll share a couple more styles of the Purse with you this week. I'm really thrilled with the way my Purse turned out!!! 😊😊😊

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
