Waterfront, Birthday Backgrounds, Lilypad Lake, Lakeside - Happy 4th of July to all

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

We have a 40% chance of Thunder Storms again today with high temps in the 90's.

My share for today is a 4th of July card.  Let's take a look:

My Good Friend and Fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Kadie, had a Red, White and Blue challenge for her Down Line Team so here is the Card that I submitted.  Thanks so much Kadie for having such a fun challenge and for including me!!!

My Card Base is Real Red Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored and folded at 5-1/2" for a top folding card.

My Card Front is Whisper White Cardstock cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

My next Card Front Panel is Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 3-3/4" x 5".  I sponged the Card with Night of Navy as shown in the picture above.

I used Stampin' Up's Lilypad Lake Stamp Set to stamp the water and SU's Waterfront Stamp Set to stamp the Mountains and Trees.

Using SU's Lilypad Lake Stamp Set, I stamped the Sail Boats in Memento Black Ink and colored them with one of SU's Blender Pens and Real Red and Night of Navy Inks.

Using SU's coordinating Lakeside Framelits Dies, I die cut out the Sailboats and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals and Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

Using SU's new Birthday Backgrounds Stamp Set, I stamped the fun Birthday Exploding Marks in Versa Mark Ink for my Fireworks, sprinkled on SU's White Embossing Powder and heat set it with SU's Heat Tool.  (Note:  Instead of brushing off the run-a-way White Embossing Powder, I left run-a-way White Embossing Powder on the Card so it would look like some Stars in the night sky).

I created each Firework differently by using my Wink of Stella and applying the Glossy Glittery shine to each Firework.

Using SU's Lilypad Lake Stamp Set, I stamped the Moon in Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. 

Using SU's new Birthday Backgrounds, I stamped the marks on the Moon with the Dotted Stamp in Black Memento Ink.

I colored the Moon with SU's Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend Markers, punched it out with SU's 3/4" Circle Punch and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I adhered some of SU's Basic Jewel Pears and SU's new Basic Jewel Red Rhinestones in the center of each Firework.
