My Niece, Amy, and her Children, Joey and Bree, were here and stayed with us last week. I was so happy to have them here and yet, felt bad that I couldn't do the things that I wanted to with them because of my bad back. Amy really helped me out with cooking, laundry and cleaning up every day so that was a HUGE blessing for me! We miss them already!
What a shock to have such a quiet house after all the fun commotion everyday.
My share for today is how I embellished my Petite Treats that I shared with you a week ago Friday. Let's take a look:
Using SU's Sunshine Wishes Framelits Dies, I took the Heart Die and traced it lightly around the outside edges with a pencil onto Blushing Bride Cardstock and fussy cut it out.
I then die cut the Heart out from SU's new Lovely Lipstick Cardstock. I adhered the Lovely Lipstick Detailed Heart to the Blushing Bride fussy cut Heart with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I die cut another Heart from SU's Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and adhered the negative Heart with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I die cut the Love die from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock and adhered it to the top with tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.
I die cut 2 Butterflies, one from Lemon Lime Twist and one of the White/Lemon Lime Twist Card Bases in the kit. I adhered the two together with a tiny piece of Stampin' Dimensional, wrapped some of SU's new Rose Thread around it leaving each end long for the antenna and adhered it to the top with another small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
Using SU's Layering Circles Framelits Dies, I die cut the 2-3/4" Circle from the White/Lemon Lime Twist Card Base and then cut it in half.
I also die cut a 2-1/8" Circle from Lovely Lipstick Cardstock.
I adhered the Half Circle to the top of my Petite Treat with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and then adhered the Lovely Lipstick Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Treat Time Stamp Set, I stamped my Sentiment onto Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and die cut the Label out with the coordinating Petite Treats Framelits Dies.
I adhered the Label to the Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I tied a Bow with the Black/Gold Twine from the Kit and adhered it to the top of the Circle with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I adhered 3 of the Gold Sequins from the Kit as shown in the picture above.
I fussy cut out the Alligator with the Bird from SU's new Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the bottom of the Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I also fussy cut out the Balloons and adhered the Strings behind the Alligator with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Balloons with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using the Broadway Star Stamp Set from the Kit, I stamped Congrats onto Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and trimmed it out on my SU Stampin' Trimmer. I adhered the Congrats with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using the Black/Gold Twine from the Kit, I tied a Bow onto the Lacy Trim.
I adhered the Circle to my Petite Treat with Stampin' Dimensionals.
These Petite Treats are very addicting to make and so fun to embellish!!!
Again, my apologies for being absent last week.
Wishing you all a warm and sunny day and a fun and safe Holiday week!!!
Blessings!
Lynn
