We spent most of the weekend fishing and caught lots of fish. We also had lots of company stopping in unexpectedly. It's so nice to have friends that we haven't seen in a while stop by and catch up on everything that's been going on.
My share for today is a One Layer Thanks Card with a Linen Thread Bow. Let's take a look:
My Card Base is one of Stampin' Up's Whisper White Narrow Note Cards.
Using SU's new Pressed Flowers Stamp Set, I stamped the Long Dotted Image by inking up the stamp with SU's new Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping off once onto another cardstock for future use (or scrap paper) and then stamped it on the right side of my Card without re-inking.
Using my new SU Highland Heather and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Write Markers, I colored the Flower and Stem, I huffed on the stamp with my breath and I stamped it onto my Card Base. I did this technique once and then once with the Smaller Flower and Stem at the base of the Larger Flower as shown in the picture above.
I stamped the Smallest Flower over the Long Dotted Image with Highland Heather Ink by stamping off once.
Using SU's new Varied Vases Stamp Set, I stamped Thanks onto the bottom of my Card Base with Black Memento Ink.
I wrapped SU's Linen Thread around my Card and tied it into a Bow at the top.
I took yesterday's afterthought and adhered SU's new Gold Metallic Pearls to the 3 Flowers on the right. I also added 3 of the Silver Metallic Pearls to yesterdays Hello Card.
What a simple One-Layer Card.

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
