My share for today is a Chapstick Project that my Niece Amy shared with me. Let's take a look:
Isn't this just one of the most COOLEST things. Amy bought me these two non-SU dies and the Plastic Molds to make this Chapstick project and Amy showed me how to make them. Now I have another addicting project!!! 😊😊😊 You can roll up money, candy, chapstick; etc. and put it in the plastic mold for any type of Occasion. We each made two different projects.
For this one, I used SU's new Tranquil Tide for my Card Base with a top folding Card.
The first Card Front Panel is Fresh Fig Cardstock and the second Card Front Panel is from SU's new Tranquil Textures Designers Series Paper.
So, when you die cut the opening for the Chapstick, and before you adhere your panels together, you get a Label from the Fresh Fig Cardstock and one from the Tranquil Textures DSP.
You also die cut the Rectangle Ring that gets adhered to the outside around the Plastic Mold that holds your Gift.
I stamped my Sentiment on the reverse side of the DSP Label. I cut the Fresh Fig Label in half and adhered a half to each end of the DSP Label and then adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
With the other Die, you die cut the Pull Zipper in the back of the Card Base before adhering everything together.
Isn't that just way too cool!!!!!
For the next Chapstick Project, we made it Christmas themed and used both of Stampin' Up's new Christmas Stamp Sets called Mistletoe Season and Stylish Christmas. We also used SU's new Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper called Under The Mistletoe.
The Card Base is Soft Suede Cardstock, the first Card Front Panel is Real Red Cardstock and the second Card Front Panel is from SU's new Under The Mistletoe Designers Series Paper.
We also used Old Olive Cardstock for the Rectangle Ring around the Chapstick and the Old Olive and Real Red Labels.
We used Stylish Christmas Stamp Set for the Peace and then Mistletoe Season for the Joy & Love which we stamped on the Labels with Memento Black Ink.
We stamped the Jingle Bells in Gray Granite Ink onto Gray Granite Cardstock and punched them out with SU's 1/2" Circle Punch.
We adhered the Pine Boughs and Jingle Bells with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and the Bow with Stampin' Dimensionals.
We adhered one of SU's Gold Faceted Gems in the center of the Bow.
Amy, thank you so much for my new dies. I can see so many opportunities with these dies for so many different Occasions and with so many different inserts in the Plastic Mold. Thank you, thank you and thank you!!!
Amy, Bree and I had so much fun stamping together. I sure wish they all lived closer!
Wishing you all a warm and sunny day and a fun and safe Holiday week!!!
Blessings!
Lynn

PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
