Stampin' Up Touches of Texture, Thankful Thoughts, Avant Garden, Best Birds, Builder Birdcage, Flourish, Stitched Shapes

The sun is shining full on today and it's so pretty!  Very blustery when you walk outside though.  Our high for today is 13 degrees and the wind chill is close to zero.  Yuck!

My share for today is 4 cards that I designed using a mix of Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up's Annual Catalog and the new 2017 Occasions Catalog.  The Stampin' products that I used are Touches of Texture, Thankful Thoughts, Avant Garden, Best Birds, Builder Birdcage and Flourish Thinlits Dies.

Let's take a look:

Ahhh...I had to take a break and do some coloring with my Stampin' Write Markers.  It was so relaxing to just sit and color on such a cold Wintery day.  And, Stampin' Up's Touches of Texture Stamp Set was the perfect choice for me to color.

I picked out some of my most FAVE Stampin' Up colors and Cardstock; Melon Mambo, Delightful Dijon, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Old Olive.

My Card Bases are Melon Mambo, Delightful Dijon, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral cut at 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" and scored and folded at 5-1/2".

My Card Front Strip is Old Olive Cardstock cut at 1" x 4-1/4" and adhered to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered one of SU's new Lace Doilies onto the Strip of Old Olive Cardstock with Mono Multi Purpose Glue in the center of the doily only.  The Doilies are so pretty!  One side is Very Vanilla and the other side is Whisper White.  These Doilies are really fun to Spritz or Brayer with any color of Ink.

I trimmed out a piece of SU's Shimmery White Cardstock to measure 2-7/8" x 3-5/8".

Using SU's Touches of Texture Stamp Set, I stamped the Flowers on the left in Basic Black Archival Ink.

I stamped the Border Stamp on the right in Old Olive Ink.

I colored my Flowers with my Stampin' Write Markers.

I wrapped the SU's Linen Thread around my piece of Cardstock 3 times, tied it in a bow at the base of the Flower Stems and adhered it to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Flourish Thinlits Dies, I die cut my Flowers in the coordinating color Cardstocks as my Card Bases and my Leaves from Old Olive Cardstock.  I also used Very Vanilla Cardstock for the center of the Flower.

I adhered my Flowers to the bottom right corner of my Shimmery White Cardstock piece with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I trimmed off a couple of the bottom Leaves from the Leaf Die Cut.  I adhered the top portion of the Leaves under the Flowers and a single Leaf under the Flower.

Isn't that Bee just too cool and too life like!  I was amazed at how real it looked.

I stamped my Bee onto Shimmery White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink by stamping off once onto another piece of Cardstock (for use in a future project) and then onto my Shimmery White Cardstock.  I was going for a lighter look.

I colored my Bee lightly with my Delightful Dijon Stampin' Write Marker and fussy cut the Bee out.

I adhered the Bee to my Card Base with small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals.

I brushed some Wink of Stella onto the Bees' Wings and and what a WOW factor that is.  The really look like real wings.

I added one of SU's Basic Jewel Pearls to the centers of my Flowers.

Here's a look at each card individually:

Melon Mambo

Delightful Dijon

Bermuda Bay

and Calypso Coral.

Here are the inside of my Cards:

I cut SU's Lace Doilies in Half and adhered them to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I picked out some of my FAVE Sentiments from a variety of Stampin' Up Stamp Sets.  For this Card, I used SU's new Builder Birdcage Stamp Set.  I stamped my Sentiment on Whisper White Cardstock.

Using SU's Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, I die cut 2 Circles: one from Old Olive Cardstock and one from Very Vanilla Cardstock with the Sentiment.  I adhered them together and to the inside of my card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I adhered another of the Single Leaves next to the Sentiment.

For this Card, I used SU's Best Birds Stamp Set which is in SU's Annual Catalog.

For this Card, I used SU's Thankful Thoughts which is in SU's Annual Catalog.

I also used the White side of the Lace Doily on this card.

For this Card, I used SU's new Avant Garden Stamp Set which is a Sale-A-Bration free item.  During Sale-A-Bration, you get a free item of your choice from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure for every $50 you spend (before shipping and tax).

Love how my cards turned out.  Maybe I'll have to come up with a Card Box for these too!
