Stampin' Up Pretty Pocket Card Kit - Free Sale-A-Bration Item - Alternate Cards - Swirly Bird, Swirly Scribbles - IV

Again, we are having another dark and dreary day and isolated freezing rain across our area with a high today of 38.  I did get to see a few glimpses of the sun yesterday.  That made me happy!

My share for today is two more Cards that I designed using Stampin' Up's Pretty Pocket Card Kit, Swirly Bird Stamp Set and Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies.  The Pretty Pocket Card Kit is one of the Sale-A-Bration items you can get from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure when you spend $50 in Stampin' Up product (before shipping and tax).

Let's take a look at my two Cards:

I just can't get enough of Stampin' Up's Pretty Pocket Card Kit.  Today, I've turned the Pocket Card up-side-down!   =)

I took the Pretty Pocket Card and cut it in half removing it's natural score line completely.

I then removed the adhesive backing from the triangle piece and adhered the two pieces together as shown in the picture above.

I'll start in reverse and explain the inside of the cards first

I cut one of the Flower Stickers in half and adhered it to the top inside of my Card and a whole Flower Sticker to the bottom being careful with the placement so it would show through the front of the Card when closed.

I cut one of the Insert Cards in half directly below the pre-printed lines and rounded the two corners with my Project Life Corner Rounder Punch.

I used half of the pre-printed Insert Card on each card.  One half with the pre-printed lines and one half without.

I carefully adhered the Sentiment Sticker towards the bottom of the Insert Card piece so it would line up with the die cut hole in the top of the Card.  I then carefully adhered it to the inside of my card again being carefully with alignment so it would show through the front of the Card when closed.

Now for the front of my Cards.

I cut one of SU's White Tea Lace Doilies in half and adhered the cut edge directly to the bottom edge of the pre-printed Doily on the Card.

Using SU's Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies, I die cut one of the Scribbles, as shown in the picture above, and a Flower from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and the Leaves from Wild Wasabi Cardstock.

I adhered the Scribble die cut to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above.

For this card, I used Calypso Coral Cardstock for the Scribble die cut and the Flower.

Using Stampin' Up's Swirly Bird Stamp Set, I stamped the Boat/Nest stamp in Soft Suede Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock and the Bird in Pool Party Ink.  I then fussy cut them out.

I adhered the Leaves, Flower, Bird's Nest and Bird to my Wreath (Scribbles die cut) with Mono Multi Purpose Glue again as shown in the picture above.

I adhered one Large Basic Jewel Rhinestone to the Flower and the Smallest Rhinestones randomly around the Wreath.

All that was left was to tie some of the White Baker's Twine that's included in the kit around the front of my Cards and into pretty Bows.

Ta Da!!!  A couple more Alternate Cards that you can make from Stampin' Up's Pretty Pocket Card Kit.

That's all I have for today.  Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great weekend!

I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges, using them for their own card classes and (using them on their blogs as their own creations) - Please give credit where credit is due.  My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit.  I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but,  PLEASE be considerate of others creativity!  Thank you!
