Now, aren't they just stinkin' cute!
Pictured above, the pumpkins are shown in full light during the day.
Here, they are shown in half light during the day.
And here, they are shown in no light during the day. Just too cute!
Using SU's Everyday Jar Framelits, I die cut the second largest Jar die from SU Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.
I stamped the Pumpkin Face from SU's new Jar of Haunts Stamp Set in Black Memento Ink. I used a craft knife and cutting mat to cut out the eye's, nose and mouth.
I die cut the Jar Lid from Everyday Jar Framelits out of Soft Suede Cardstock and adhered it to the top of my Jar using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Halloween Night Baker's Twine in Basic Black & Orange and Basic Black & Gray, I tied bows around the tops of my Jar Lids.
I stamped the Leaves using SU's Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink onto Old Olive Cardstock. I fussy cut out the leaves and adhered them to my Jar Lids underneath the Baker's Twine using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I used SU's new Home Sweet Home Thinlits dies and Basic Black Cardstock to die cut all the Bat's on all the Leaves on all the Pumpkins.
I stamped the Ghost in Black Memento Ink using SU's new Spooky Fun Stamp Set, fussy cut it out, went around the edges with SU's Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and adhered it to the Pumpkin with a small piece of a Stampin' Dimensional.
I die cut the 3 Pumpkins out from SU Pumpkin Pie Cardstock using SU's new Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies. I stamped the Pumpkin Faces in Black Memento Ink, colored the Stems with an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker and adhered them to the Pumpkin using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Sweet Home Stamp Set, I stamped the Ghost in Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I die cut the Ghost out using SU's new coordinating Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies and adhered it to my Pumpkin using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Spooky Fun Stamp Set, I stamped the Headstones in Black Memento Ink onto Smokey Slate Cardstock. I die cut them out using SU's new coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies and adhered them to my Pumpkin using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using SU's new Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies, I die cut the Fence from Basic Black Cardstock. I trimmed off 3 Fence Posts and adhered them to my Pumpkin using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using SU's new Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set, I stamped the Crow in Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut the Crow out, colored in his eye and beak using a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker and adhered him to the Fence using a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
Using SU's new Halloween Scares Stamp Set, I colored the small Pumpkin with Stampin' Write Markers in Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie, huffed on the stamp to rejuvenate the ink and stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstock. I fussy cut the Pumpkin out and adhered it to the Fence using a small piece of Stampin' Dimensional.
These would be so cute set out on a dinner table or scattered throughout the house, in a window or even for an office gift.
These were so much fun to put together! I could have easily kept going on the embellishments too, as .... !
There's new Glimmer Paper in Pumpkin Pie color, new Halloween Night Enamel Dots in Old Olive, Perfect Plum and Pumpkin Pie ... AND ...
New Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape!!! Oh Boy!!!
AND, a new Black Ombre Stampin' Ink Pad and a new Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (which I will show you next week). Wa Hooooo!!!
O.K. Here is the template for the small 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" open top box that I adhererd to the back of each Pumpkin. The box holds a battery tea light or candy. I used the Ferrero Rocher candy which come in different flavors. Both the battery and the Ferrero Rocher fit very nicely in the box.
I trimmed out a piece of SU Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and scored it at 1" on all 4 sides.
I trimmed each side of the large flap on two opposite ends up to the score line.
I put SU's Tear & Tape on the flaps as shown in the above picture.
Remove the liner from the Tear & Tape on the right end of the left flap (where my finger nail is pointing too) and adhere the left flap to the right flap.
Remove the rest of the liner's from the Tear & Tape on the left and right flaps and fold the larger bottom flap up onto the adhesive.
Adhere the box to the back of the Pumpkin using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
And, that's it. So easy and fun!!!!
Hope you enjoyed today's blog post project! Please come back on Monday where I'll be posting another project on the same order.
That's all I have for today. Have a great weekend!
I recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects, duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions cards; but, PLEASE be considerate of others creativity! Thank you!
If you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up products, you can order from me on-line at www.stampinup.com and please choose me, Lynn Gauthier, as your Demonstrator.
