We finally got some much needed rain. Early Saturday morning it came down quite heavy for a while. I'm sure all the plants and farmers are happy now.
My share today is another card that I designed using Stampin' Up's Baby Bear Stamp only this time I did the Baby Boy version.
Let's take a look:
My card base is SU Bermuda Bay Cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored and folded at 4-1/4".
My
card front panel is a piece from A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and adhered
to my card base using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Using one of SU's Retired
Circle Framelits, I die cut the the largest circle from Bermuda Bay. I adhered the Bermuda Bay circle to my card front panel using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
SU's Baby Bear Stamp Set is a 3-Step Stamp Set using the bear images. I started out by stamping the most detailed Bear image with Soft Sky Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, the next Bear image with Pool Party and the least detailed Bear image with Bermuda Bay.
The images are pretty easy to line up as you can see through the Photopolymer stamp and a clear block. Even if you miss a little, they still turn out gorgeous! I wasn't quite spot on with all of the bears that I stamped.
I die cut Baby Bear out using the second largest circle die and adhered it to the Bermuda Bay circle using Stampin'
Dimensionals.
The Bears' Bow
in this set is a two-step stamping technique. I stamped the least
detailed Bow image using Soft Sky Ink and the most detailed Bow image
using Pool Party. I fussy cut the bow out and adhered the Bow to the Bear using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I stamped
my sentiment on to Whisper White Cardstock using SU's Basic Black
Archival Ink. I punched my sentiment out using SU's new Duet Banner
Punch. I trimmed the ends of the banner on an angle on each side of the
sentiment. I then punched another banner and adhered the trimmed banner
piece to the whole banner piece using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added
the banner under the Baby Bear using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
And,
of course, I had to add one of SU's Circle Enamel Shapes in Bermuda Bay to the Baby Bear's Bow and two Heart Enamel Shapes to the
banner.
For
the inside of my card, I die cut a scalloped oval using SU's new Layering Ovals
Framelits, stamped the sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink and adhered
it to the inside of my card using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I also adhered another bow under the sentiment.
Here's another version of my Baby Bear card. I used the pennant DSP from A Little Foxy Designer Series Stack and one of SU's Tea Lace Doilies.
And a picture of the inside.
Hope you enjoyed today's blog post!
That's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Have a great day!
I
recently discovered that people are using my cards and/or projects,
duplicating them and entering them into challenges and using them for their own card classes. My cards and
projects are my own creations and are not to be used in challenges, blog hops, card classes or
sold at craft shows; etc., for profit. I don't mind if you duplicate my
creativity to pass on to family members or friends as gifts or Occasions
