What a down right GORGEOUS day outside!. I'm so excited for the warmer weather. I can't wait to get outside and do our lawn clean-up and check out my flower beds. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer. I love it when the sun shines full on. I hope all of you are having a great day too!
Today, I'll be
sharing the third alternate card that I
designed using Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kit called Hello Sunshine.
Let's take a look:
My card base is Stampin' Up's Old Olive Cardstock and my card front panel is SU Soft Sky Core'dinations Cardstock (Retired).
I used SU's Curvy Corner Trio Punch and punched the bottom two corners of my card front panel.
I wrapped a piece of SU's 3/8" Pool Party Glitter Ribbon around the top of my front card panel and adhered it with Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
Above is a picture of the envelopes that come in Stampin' Up's February Hello Sunshine monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit. Aren't they just gorgeous!!!
So, using SU's Deco Label Collections Framelits (second largest die), I die-cut the envelope (pictured above) that comes in Stampin' Up's Hello Sunshine Paper Pumpkin Kit. I then die-cut a piece of SU's Tangerine Tango Cardstock Core'dinations (Retired) (largest die).
I stamped the sentiment by masking the 'you' off from the 'thank' with tape (and visa versa) on the envelope deco label die-cut piece in SU's Blackberry Bliss Ink as shown in the picture.
I adhered the two pieces together and tucked it under the ribbon on my card front panel using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I tucked a couple miniature glue dots under the ribbon to help hold it in place.
As an afterthought, I may add a small bow using the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon under the top left flower.
I adhered my card front panel to my card base using SU's Stampin' Dimensionals.
After I made the Oopsy on yesterday's card by confusing the Soft Sky Cardstock with the Pool Party Cardstock (due to my partial color blindness), I really did think that it was a neat effect that happened by accident, I used it again on my card today. So, my card base is Soft Sky and my punched flowers are Pool Party and Blackberry Bliss. I really like the two blues together.
Anyways, I used SU's Blossom Bunch Punch and punched my out my flowers, rolled and cupped the petals with my Petal Roller Tool, adhered them together and to my card front panel using Mono Multi-Purpose Glue.
I adhered a couple of the gold sequins that come in the kit to the center of two of the flowers.
I then added some small SU Basic Jewel Pearls to the center of the sequins and one to the center of the third flower.
I randomly adhered some of the bigger pink sequins to my card front panel. On today's card, the sequins picked up some of the Blackberry Bliss color and some of the Soft Sky color, depending on which sequin you look at.
I love this color combination! It worked out perfectly with the flower design on the front of the envelopes.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have a great weekend!
