My share for today is a Happy Flower Card that I designed using products from Stampin' Up!'s Mini Occasions Catalog and the NEW May 2022-April 2023 Annual Catalog and more. Let's take a look:
Gosh...I'm just havin' a BLAST working with Stampin' Up!'s Hues of Happiness Suite.
For today's Card, I switched form a Landscape Card to a Portrait Card Layout. (There is one wonderful Lady at the Stampin' Up! Office that calls them Hamburger and Hotdog so she can remember which way the Card is supposed to go!) 😊😊😊
Anyways, my Card Base is Night of Navy Cardstock.
My First Card Front Panel is Basic White Cardstock.
My Second Card Front Panel is the Night of Navy/Gingham pattern in Stampin' Up!'s 6" x 6" Neutrals Collection Designer Series Paper.
Now...remember yesterday when I said to be careful on how you put the Long Border Die down on the edge your DSP so you didn't just cut the edge of your paper off??? Well, I put the wrong edge of the Long Border Die down on my DSP and ending up cutting off some of the DSP.
You can see in the picture above how I used that skinny strip of DSP on the inside of my Card. I guess you can say that it was a happy mistake as you can use the Dies a couple different ways. Use it for a nice Border like on the Front of my Card or use it as a Strip to embellish your Card. 😊😊😊 And, I just ended up with a wider Strip of Basic White Cardstock showing on the front of my Card. So no worries, you can fix many mistakes in paper crafting.
I pretty much just re-arranged different colored Flowers on my Card.
Using the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set, I stamped my Saying in Night of Navy Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock.
Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I die cut out my Banner with one of the Banner Dies and trimmed the end on angle.
I randomly adhered some Pearl Basic Jewels to my Card.
