My share for today is Five Christmas Cards that I made using Shannon West's "Pick Six Wonder" that I shared with you yesterday and the day before. Let's take a look:
Wowzers...I'm just a plowing through Shannon's 'Pick Six Wonder' and making my Christmas Cards. For once, maybe I'll be done making Christmas Cards before November. Yay!!! Thank you so much Shannon for sharing with us! You are AMAZING!!!
For today's Cards, I made Design 3: 3 Pieces/Belly Bands. So, the larger Designer Series Paper pieces are 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" and the Belly Band is 3/4" from your 6" x 6" DSP.
My Card Base is Evening Evergreen.
I adhered two DSP pieces and the Belly Band across the splice of the two pieces to my Card Base with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Pictured above is a real close up pic of my Card. I wanted to show how beautiful the Gold 6" x 6" Metallic Specialty Paper is with the textured brushed metallic. There are 8 sheets: 4 of Gold and 4 of Rose Gold. Anyways, it is even more gorgeous in real life.
Using the Christmas Trimmings Dies, I die cut out the Large Star Solid Image Die with the Large Detailed Image Star Die in the middle from the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.
I die cut another Large Star Solid Image from Evening Evergreen Cardstock.
Using the Word Wishes Dies, I die cut out the words 'Merry' and 'Christmas' from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.
I adhered my Gold Metallic die cuts to the Evening Evergreen die cut with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I adhered six Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are shown in the picture above.
I adhered a panel of Whisper White Cardstock to the inside of my Card and the word 'Christmas' with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I am going to use the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set and maybe stamp the Bow or a Berry Stem or Leaf Stem on the inside of my Card. I kind of ran out of time today!
I did the same for the rest of my Cards except changed out some colors.
For this Card, my Card Base and Star are from Misty Moonlight Cardstock.
My Card Base is Sahara Sand Cardstock.
Now, a little personal note about me, I'm part color blind and I have an extremely hard time matching up colors that are alike; mostly really dark and really light colors. So, my Star is supposed to be Sahara Sand too; but, I ended up using Crumb Cake. Oopsy!!! My Grandma was color blind too!!! Anyways, it still looks fine!!! 😉😉😉
For this Card, my Card Base and Star are from Soft Succulent Cardstock.
I adhered the Coastal Cabanna Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of my Card.
For this Card, my Card Base and Star are from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.
The word 'Merry' is die cut from Evening Evergreen Cardstock.
