My share for today is a Merry Christmas Card that I designed using lots of new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2021 Mini Holiday Catalog, the August 3 - Sept 30, 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure and More. Let's take a look:
O.K. Here's the scoop!!! My Cat, Natasha, sat on my Card this morning so it is a little bent in the middle and a little out of shape. I think she was not happy with me for putting this adorable Dog on the front of my Card instead of the cute Cats from the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper. 😊😊😊 And, she is totally ignoring me this morning!!!
Anyways, my Card is a non-traditional color Card, just as I wanted it!!! I used Polished Pink Cardstock for my Card Base!!!
I ran the Card Front through my Stampin' Up! Cut and Emboss Machine with the new Merry Melody Emboss Folder. (Who doesn't like a little Christmas music when the are decorating their Christmas tree!!!)
I trimmed out a strip of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock to measure 3/4" x 4-1/4", ran the strip through my Cut and Emboss Machine and flagged both ends of my strip with the Pick A Punch punch.
I adhered the strip to the bottom of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue as shown in the picture above. (This is for grounding for the Tree, Dog and Box of Bulbs.)
Using the Christmas Trees dies, I die cut out one of the Solid Tree dies from the Mint Macaron/Diamond pattern in the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper.
I then die cut out one of the Tree Trimming dies from the Be Dazzling 6" x 6" Specialty Paper (Free product in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure) and adhered it to my Tree with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
I fussy cut out the Dog with the String of Lights and the Cat in the Box. I trimmed off the bottom of the the Box and snipped off the Cats tail as shown in the picture above. (No wonder Natasha is ignoring me today - that sounds awful.)
Using the Christmas Trees dies, I die cut out the Bulbs from Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Balmy Blue Cardstocks and adhered them over the top of the Cats head as shown in the picture above. (Seriously, I totally understand Natasha snubbing me now!)
I adhered the Dog with the String of Lights with Stampin' Dimensionals and the Box of Bulbs to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.
Using the Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set, I masked the 'We wish you a Merry Christmas' stamp and only stamped the 'Merry Christmas' in Cherry Cobbler Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and then fussy cut it out.
I trimmed out a strip of Cinnamon Cider Cardstock to measure 3/4" x 3" and adhered my fussy cut 'Merry Christmas' to the strip with Mono Multi Purpose Glue and to my Card with Stampin' Dimensioals.
I adhered seven Wonderful Gems (Adhesive backed faceted gems with Gold Glitter Flakes) to my Card as shown in the picture above.
