Flora and Flutter December 2017 Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card with Bird Banter, Tutti-Fruitti Cards, Layering Ovals, Triple Banner - V

It's partly to mostly cloudy today with some brisk, harsh winds.  Our high temperature is supposed to be 26; but, it feels more like 16.  Brrrr........

My share for today is another Alternate Card that I made using Stampin' Up's December 2017 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Flora and Flutter and SU's new Occasions Catalog Bird Banter Stamp Set.  Let's take a look:

My Card Base is one of Stampin' Up's new Sale-A-Bration products called Tutti-Frutti Cards and Envelopes.  I chose the Striped Lemon Lime Twist for my Card Base.

As some of you may know, the Square Lemon Lime Twist Leaf Stem Die Cuts were cut backwards and Stampin' Up placed the corrected version in our kits along with the version that was cut backwards.  So we got extras!  I used the backwards version on my Alternate Friend Card.

I trimmed out a panel from one of the Pool Party Tutti-Fruitti Card Bases to measure 
3-3/4" x 3-3/4" and adhered it to the back of the backwards version of the Lemon Lime Twist Leaf Stem Die Cut Square with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I cut a length of Crushed Curry Baker's Twine, wrapped it around the bottom of the panel and tied it into a Bow.  I rolled up a Glue Dot and put it underneath the Bow to secure it to the panel.

I adhered this panel to my Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using SU's Bird Banter Stamp Set, I stamped my 2 Birds and a Long Leaf Stem with Basic Black Archival Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock.


I colored my Birds with my Stampin' Blends Markers in Light and Dark Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Smokey Slate and fussy cut them out.


I colored my Long Leaf Stem with Light and Dark Old Olive and fussy cut it out.

I stamped 3 Flowers in Calypso Coral Ink onto one of the Calypso Coral Tutti-Fruitti Card Bases and fussy cut them out. 

I adhered the Long Leaf Stem with Mono Multi Purpose Glue under the Center of the Stem and a Mini Stampin' Dimensional under the Leaves.

I adhered the 2 Birds with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals under their Bodies and with Mono Multi Purpose Glue under their Feet. 

I shaped my Flowers and adhered them to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I stamped the adorable Friend phrase in Basic Black Archival Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.  I trimmed it out to measure 5/8" x 3".

I trimmed out another Banner from one of the Lemon Lime Twist Tutti-Fruitti Card Bases to measure 3/4" x 3".  I adhered the Whisper White Banner to the Lemon Lime Twist Banner and used SU's Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends.

I adhered the Banner to my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue on the bottom of the Banner and small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals on the top of the Banner as shown in the picture above.

For the inside of my Card:
Using SU's Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, I die cut out a Scalloped Oval from one of the Pool Party Tutti-Fruitti Card Bases and adhered it to the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

Using SU's Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies, I die cut out a Banner from a scrap of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.

Using SU's Bird Banter Stamp Set, I stamped the Thank You 3 times across the Banner and adhered it over the Oval on the inside of my Card with Mono Multi Purpose Glue.

I colored 3 Basic Jewel Rhinestones with a Black Sharpie Marker and adhered them to the Centers of my Flowers.

I enjoyed this Card so much that I made a couple of them!
